Palmer was mildly successful.

Its almost like we are an extremely young rebuilding team with some questionable starters. Once those guys are out we have a ton of trash and no depth.

If he is average, he is average. If he goes out and plays the full preseason game and throws 5 TD passes it still would not mean poo when the regular season comes. We are not going to find out if he is our franchise QB in a preseason game going up against 2s and 3s. If he is that's great we got a steal, if he is not hopefully he sucks enough for us to have a shot at one next off season.

There is not a competition for the QB spot because our other 2 options suck. Darnold's talent level is miles ahead of Grier or PJ. We do not have another legitimate starting QB on our roster. Would it be nice to see more of Darnold in the games? Sure, but the coaches are happy with the work he is getting in joint practices. Maybe if tis staff does not work out some of you guys should throw your hat in the ring when the new hiring process begins.

You do realize the guys that got the majority of the snaps last night will not see the field much or even be on the team when the regular season starts? 0-2 in preseason means diddly squat.

If somebody had told Theodore last season that throwing the ball into the end zone was allowed we could have had 10 wins. I think Sam knows he can indeed throw the ball into the end zone.

None of those teams seemed to have a problem beating our asses once Cam got broken. Fug them, we should beat them all by as many points as possible. No bullshitting around trying to hold onto a 7 point lead.

He can stay where he is at. If Darnold does not work out we need to draft and develop our own franchise QB, no more reclamation projects.

Cam also averaged 7 rushing TDs and around 500 yards rushing per season for his career, I don't see Darnold doing that so he needs to be a better passer than Cam was. Cam also had one of the worst play callers in the league, terrible weapons and a crappy O-line. At least Sam has weapons and a competent play caller.

I think the only way the starters play is if Baltimore plays their starters. I dont think Rhule wants to give our 1s a false sense of dominance by beating up on the opposing teams 2s and 3s.

Well PJ went 10/21 against scrubs and people are wanting to crown him as our starter. As long as he had 1 TD pass everyone should be pleased I guess.

The Colts did not play their starters so Rhule did not play starters. Fitt is the GM that traded for Darnold.

As terribad as Teddy was last year, Walker only got to see the field when Teddy was injured. I expect the same scenario this season.

Holden, Nelson, Kelly, Glowinski, Smith. Im not sure if any of them played, I know nelson and kelly are injured.

Johnathan Taylor is the starting RB. Hilton, Pascal, Pittman are the starting WRs. Doyle is the starting TE. None of them touched the ball, i do not think they played at all.

He is small with questionable accuracy. To make it at that size in the league you have to be pinpoint accurate or lighting fast, he is neither.
