What teams say vs what teams actually do is very different. Luvu was the definition of a dawg and we didn't really try to keep him. Sanders is 10x the athlete Luvu could dream of being, but doesn't seem to have that "it" factor. They must think they can coach him up to be Shaq's replacement and help him make the leap. We will see

It’s crazy how out of control the RB narrative has gotten. Yes RB is not as important as the past and yes a 2nd round RB most likely is much better than a 5th round RB. Both can be and are true. A 4th round RB gets you…. Chubba Hubbard. Come on now, he’s a good dude and good second RB but he isn’t moving the needle for any team.

All I’m saying is the Brooks pick may have served more than one purpose. If we don’t get C at 3-1 (which I hope we do) I am pretty sure Denver and Miami FA Cs are both still out there . I THINK Sanders cap hit is like 6.5M this year. If we can give him away for someone taking 3M that frees up enough cash we might make a move for a FA center.
