And to me, Pickens isn't doing that poo. He is impressive, but he doesn't get open on short and immediate stuff like Johnson. Taylor matches up physically better with Pickens... but nope, let's keep having Jaycee chase him all over the field when they have already told us, "that's cool, we just won't throw to him." Holcomb is a fuging idiot.

Same thing I just said in a different reply. Taylor is honestly better suited to try to stick with Pickens versus Johnson, who is shiftier and a better route runner. The fact Holcomb has left him on him when he has singlehandedly converted like every third down pass attempt in the second half is absolutely fuging insane.

Honestly, after seeing what they're doing, I would just be fine taking my chances with switching Taylor on to Pickens and putting Horn on Johnson. They really started going to Johnson because they expect it will be there... switch it up and make them second guess what they're doing.

I don't have a problem blitzing there, but you have to press the receivers so they don't get a free release and get to run these option routes with the DB dropping back off of them and guessing. And Taylor excels in physical/bump and run style play... then we turn around on the next 3rd down and gave a press look only for him to try to shade him without even getting a jam and all he did was running a fuging hook on him bc of it.
