  1. I never thought I'd see a QB who could replicate the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense via the passing game.
  2. He'll need two more quarters and 30 more throws. But relax, it's the receivers'/coaches'/o-line's fault.
  3. I told some friends back when we had Teddy thatbhe was by far the most frustrating QB to watch that we had ever had... I now amend that. Teddy was. But at least Teddy would occasionally, maybe even twice a game, try a deep throw that was CLOSE. This offense is fuging hopeless.
  4. You know poo has gone to hell when your fuging punter is getting personal foul penalties.
  5. Or maybe we can pass 5 yard hitches all the way to the superbowl. Apparently that's what our front office and coaching staff thought we would do. Which is more asinine?
  6. Lol when they get their hands on Bryce it looks like child abuse.
  7. Arm strength is subjective. Do I think he can throw 40 yards in the air? Yes. Do I think he can throw it 40 yards in the air, with the proper trajectory, velocity, and touch to complete a pass against NFL opposing defenses? Probably not. So that would be a no. Like i said, show me an "over the top" throw he's been anywhere close on through 6 weeks of NFL football. It doesn't exist. For a #1 overall pick to not have one of those throws to this point is not promising.
  8. Show me a good deep throw he's made over 20 yards through 6 weeks of NFL regular season football.
  9. Hey, do you guys remember that time we signed Justin Houston? Whatever happened to him?
  10. Sorry, Mr. Young. Didn't realize "pretty damn well" was the bar for #1 picks now in week 6.
  11. Bryce cannot throw over the top. Period. Even tried to fool them by audibling to the same formation he ran the screen out of and then throw deep... yeah, I have no hope for him being the guy. This is a fuging pedestrian ass offense and is boring as hell to watch, and I imagine be a part of if your name is anything other than Adam Thielen.
  12. Tbh, outside of a few solid hits in run support, the only thing Donte has ever excelled at was giving up big plays. His picks have almost always been being in the right place at the right time on bad throws rather than some instinctual/good play on his part. It's crazy professional talent evaluators decided to pay him over Gilmore for multiple years of his bullshit, because he's a "leader." fuging garbage.
  13. It's maddening. And this poo has been happening across multiple coaches/staffs now. Of course, politics/money always play a part in decisions, but it shouldn't when the answer is that obvious... just too much ego and pride involved. I recall Cam talking with Lou Young recently on his YouTube show, and he even said Lou was probably the most talented CB we had on that 2015 roster, but that he never got reps. It happens all the time on every team, in every sport, but it does seem to happen a lot more here, for a lot longer before the decision makers admit their mistakes.
  14. But again, when we're talking about one throw as evidence for hope for our #1 overall pick, when there should be a stack of evidence at this point... that's not very encouraging to me. But I agree with your sentiment.
  15. It's why I didn't want him from the beginning aside from the eye test... someone shared advanced stats on all the projects top QBs in last draft prior to it during the offseason, and Bryce had by far the worst completion pct to the sidelines, and it wasn't close. AT ALL. I think. A ton of that is arm strength. And as we have seen, his deep ball is ass for the same reason.
  16. Until I see it, I'm still out. I mean, Tua doesn't have a strong arm either, but he can drop a pass in the bucket at 40 yards. Bryce hasn't been close on any I recall him attempting.
  17. I think it's safe for defenses to assume if he audibles, if they know what is a pass vs a run call, he is always going to default to something short. Smh... He played much better, but if this is the kind of offense we have to run for him to be comfortable, I'm still not hopeful about the future.
  18. We deserved to miss that for Reich electing to kick a FG instead of going for it. fuging pussy. I fuging hate Tepper.
  19. Amazing we acquired Gilmore for peanuts and elected to extend Donte over him just so he could get burned for the next 2 seasons between injuries. Lol and there was so many here who attacked me for voicing what a mistake that move was.
  20. Agreed, but when the receiver beat his cover, it's exponentially easier than a lot of "on a rope" throws. We see guys practice it every year in TC. It's just dropping it in a bucket. Not saying it's easy, but it's a routine throw, and my issue is that he hasn't been close on any 20+ yard throws of that variety and all we get is excuses. At some point, you just gotta nut up and make a throw.
