I was honestly starting to think Svech might be trade bait, because he wasn’t really fitting in with the team that well this season. He’s completely come on during the playoffs though.

He’s a great fit for the team. I figured he was just some throw in but he’s a legit prospect that’s already good enough to play at the NHL level.

On 5 on 5 we forecheck hard and win battles on the boards to create chances. On the power play we’re just standing around waiting for something to happen. I agree with you guys. Go back to basics and get someone in front of the net. Put stuff on net and try to get a deflection or a rebound.

His piece of the pie is only going to get smaller unless there are serious injuries. Unless the actual pie becomes that much larger, ie Bryce being Kurt Warner, I don't think there's room for him to breakout. Just like there's not room for JT Sanders to break out beyond a couple hundred yards receiving and a few TDs. I don't think a lot of people understand the volume that XL got last year.
