  1. Those John Fox teams were like a loveable dog that is lacking in the intelligence department, but has all the heart in the world. Fox was never a tactician or good with out maneuvering his opponents on game day. He just fielded sound football teams. That was evident right when he started in 2002.
  2. This Eagles/Ravens game feels like the preseason for a different league compared to what we watched last night.
  3. I don't know if he wanted it. Feels like he's waiting for the right opportunity.
  4. Evero is an enigma of a coach and we are super lucky to have him. We just have to hope that he really enjoys being the DC of the worst team in the league.
  5. I don't have much hope, but at least Mingo is only 1 year in. TMJ is utterly hopeless. I would be shocked if he's on the 53 man roster.
  6. He became a mushroom merchant in his post playing days. https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/from-nfl-quarterback-to-mushroom-farmer-jake-plummers-journey-from-the-gridiron-to-the-fields-of-fort-lupton/
  7. I bet they were planning on Andy doing the bulk of preseason work.
  8. Yeah I think he really could have benefited from having an OC he trusted. He wasn't even an OC long enough to get established in that role. You gotta set yourself up for success the best you can. Our owner isn't gonna make sure that happens.
  9. That's all the the pie I had left. Here's a bump. Get well soon.
  10. Its more important to focus on the bottom half of the worst roster in football.
  11. Fields just isn’t consistent enough as a passer. Doesn’t make the right reads often enough.
  12. I think you’re really onto it here. We really lack veteran leadership. I said it elsewhere but Pete Carrol had veterans to keep players accountable while he was in Seattle. It’s almost like a good cop bad cop dynamic. I don’t know that we have the leaders for that kind of coaching.
  13. Not all players who show flashes of talent end up being good. But all good players have flashed at some point. So that kind of illustrates the Venn diagram or whatever. Just because Milton looked impressive for a couple plays doesn’t mean he’ll be any good. It doesn’t even mean he’ll make a roster. But, a player who has never looked impressive will never be good. See TMJ and basically everyone else we’ve drafted after the first round.
  14. I’m excited for how the team looks It’s just preseason <—— We are here If you think you know anything from week 1 of the regular season you don’t know ball This team was never going to be competitive. Only a fool would have been optimistic.
  15. It’s commonly brought up because it’s been a huge red flag. Purdy and Dak have flashed high levels of talent at various points. It’s really not a comparison. Starting NFL QBs show starting NFL QB traits. If they don’t, they’re not starting QBs for long.
  16. I had high hopes for him as a utility lineman that could play G/C. But he just doesn't seem like he has it at the pro level.
  17. Milton is a 6th round pick who arguably flashed more times in less than a quarter of preseason action than our first overall pick did his entire rookie season. Thats the issue. Yeah Milton's probably never going to be a starter. He's 24 years old and he has a metric poo ton to improve to be viable. He has to figure it out before he gets too far past his physical peak. Time is not on his side. You can say its the grass is always greener on the other side, but ya know.. sometimes it is really greener.
  18. I was not aware, but he was probably the worst guard in the NFL last year. So I am shocked.
  19. He got completely left in the dust but that route was sick for only a few minutes left in the 4th of a preseason game.
  20. Probably the most surprising performance. That dude was dog poo last year.
  21. Kyle Shanahan struggled. People dog on him, but I wouldn't mind losing Super Bowls compared to this.
  22. That's where I'm at. Should he be fired that early potentially? Is Tepper an idiot? Will we be completely screwed? I don't know, of course, and probably. But is it possible? I would say it certainly is. Let's not forget who's making the decisions here.
