If I was the GM I would trade anyone I could for draft picks. Nobody would be safe. I would have a 2 year rebuild plan with hopes of being competitive by 2025. How this team was built and the players on it have absolutely no chance of doing anything of significance. We need a ton of draft capital and we dont need to be giving contracts out to guys like Horn, Brown, Luvu etc since we are so far away from have a competent roster. Weve been needing a complete tear down since 2019. There is simply no way around it and it starts with trading burns for multiple picks spread out of 2 or 3 drafts. Then do the same with brown and keep moving down the line.

sure but its taken a unusual route to get there, if Youngs path is similar then we are fuged

I think one thing the panthers have going for us is this. Reich and co gets next season, if things are not substantially headed in the right direction then another full enema is expected. And no new regime is coming in without being able to draft who they want. All we can hope for is that T Brown unlocks bryce's potential and we clearly see he can be the guy for us. I am skeptical and I am pretty confident he will never warrant what we gave up for him but the only hope is that he can become an plus .500 nfl qb

are we having to wait 7-8 seasons for this?

depending on the way the qbs grade out, I would put #1 on the block and get a ton more. personally I think both maye and williams are both going to be superstars in the nfl. I mean for fugs sake how many quality picks can they milk from trading with us? Like 6 first and second rounders for just moving back to 9 and getting DJ moore.

chubba looked good Brown is from the mcvay tree frank could say eff it and retire tepper is worth 20 billion, he has basically doubled his net worth since buying the team -
what an absolute neanderthal take
-
he was pretty critical on 3 or 4 of the throws but I didnt wonder why he didnt do a deep dive into the others, I guess his show isnt set up like that

you definitely see the buyers remorse setting in when you have posters saying Bryce can be solid and his arm is good enough We need better then that to win in the nfl -

therein lies the rub, trade or not we need better then solid "solid" in the nfl is 13-17ish best -

we gave up cmac, 2 2nds, dj moore and a potential #1 pick for a "nfl caliber starting qb"? you dont see the irony (is that the right word here) of that statement
