"shock the world" Looking at this roster, this coaching staff and the qb's on this team in the preseason and not seeing a complete trainwreck is on you. Anyone with a brain could see this happening. All the optimism in the world, all the unicorns and rainbows, all the supposed fandom wasnt going to change reality. This was (another) wasted year from the jump.

His recovery is basically a year. So that puts him at best training camp and even then who the fug knows what you are going to get from him being shelved that long and with a foot injury.

If and when we draft our guy in the top 5ish there is no equal footing. It doesnt work like that in the NFL. You have this strange outlook on what Corral actually is and you are totally forgetting he is done for the year. A new staff is going to draft a qb and sign a vet. Thats just what is going to happen. Will Corral get somewhat of a chance, maybe, probably but its not going to be anywhere close to "equal footing" as you are thinking.
