Jesus dude he was absolutely never viewed as a steal. Come on man. Everyone on here and everyone that followed the panthers knew when Marty was telegraphing that pick that it was abysmal.

Nobody thought he was a steal in the 3rd. He floats his passes and doesnt go through his progressions. The spread offense masked his limits and inflated his numbers. He is not good

I doubt we carry 3 qbs again on the roster. Seems like overkill

They also invested in the oline in the draft last year and that wasnt even a position of need. Wirfs put them over the top last year and was a huge reason they won the SB

I said after the draft he was the best value pick up of all our draftees. He held his on at the senior bowl. Damn if some of these guys work out, Moore , Brady brown. We are going to have a relative cheap oline to build around. Depends on moron of course.

As I understand it, it gives the dlineman a fraction of a second advantage to use whatever move he is using and it gives them more momentum due to that advantage. But yeah on the surface its seems silly but apparently its not

Wirfs is already one of the top tackles in the league. Huge reason they won last year. Becton and Wills are already settled in and performing highly at LT. Brown is good but nowhere anywhere close to as valuable as a competent left tackle. I like the horn pick but feel we are going to regret immensely not picking Slater. He is an animal. At some point we are going to have to use a first round pick on a LT.
