  1. he is the DE version of XL. He had one incredible year. I like this kid but no fuging way should he be in the discussion at 8. I mean again its just a moronic question. It just is. Maybe at the back 3rd of the first if we were to trade down but even then hell fug no.
  2. I think the consensus last year was it was a weak draft class for us sans Sanders in the 4rth. Everything else was kindof like "wtf, why?" We did have a few stragglers who feel in love with xls accent and people who were not concerned about brooks. "Beast" is the term they used to descripe him. I didnt think we could do worse then fitt in the draft but morgan said hold my beer
  3. You are A)asking a completely moronic question and B)you were already discussing this in another thread Simply googling his name and reading about him would give you a legit answer
  4. I am operating under the "blind squirrel/nut" philosophy this year. Dan can't completely blow it again can he?
  5. Please God hurry the draft up
  6. the @Mr. Scotthat was defending Fitterer to the bitter end? That mr scott?
  7. but but but CJ wouldnt have won in Carolina
  8. Going from 5 wins to 6/7 is really unacceptable. Especially with our schedule. Unlike Vashti I dont think people will get fired but I do think going into 2026 the heat will be ratcheted up to about 10. But she is correct that if we only win 6/7 people are going to question bryce, Canales, EE, Morgan etc. I hate to think what this team looks like if we have to do another rebuild after 26.
  9. Sure but our schedule is pretty easy and manageable
  10. You can't play the what if game in the NFL. It goes both ways
  11. Vashti said on the KB show heads would roll and fans should be upset at only 6/7 wins
  12. I have absolutely no idea why folks simply dont see this when the data is evident
  13. and right on cue todd mcshay talks about Sanders dropping and teams having to get to 8 to get him before the saints. He lays out what a trade up would look like. around the 27 minute mark. He said teams are really high on Walker https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/todds-top-150-big-board-risers-fallers-team-fits-and/id1775492884?i=1000702034914
  14. I think with walker you have a pretty stable and decent floor. With some of the others the floor is lower but yeah the ceiling is the roof. We just cant risk that as a franchise at this point
  15. Yeah I know, it would have to be like a first next year, a first in 2027, 2nd in 2026 and maybe a 4rth or something this year. 21 to 8 is a long way to move. Maybe this is true I dont know, its lying season. https://steelerswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/steelers/2025/04/02/2025-nfl-draft-espn-analyst-touts-shedeur-sanders-to-the-steelers/82779647007/ According to ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller, Sanders should want to play for the Steelers and him making it that far would be a good thing for him and for Pittsburgh. Miller points to the Steelers run game and offensive line as reasons Sanders should want to play in Pittsburgh. Those are both fairly arguable points but the run game is going to need a serious overhaul after Najee Harris left in free agency. He also notes that Sanders is a good fit with head coach Mike Tomlin. If the Steelers do decide to target Sanders, they would almost certainly have to trade up ahead of the New Orleans Saints at a minimum. If the Steelers think he's the answer, it would be an expensive move to go up and get him. For you guys keeping score at home, Saints are at 9, your carolina panthers 8. Probably not feasible for either team but there is certainly a way to thread the needle and making it happen. But it would have to be a poo load of capital and maybe a player or 2. Maybe minka?
  16. I think the steelers would kill to get sanders in the building. Problem is dropping down to 21 without a bryce like haul isnt worth it
  17. I have been under the assumption that if he blows out his pro day right before the draft he will never make it to 8. If that is the case hopefully graham falls
  18. If we dont draft a rb this year then motherfuger that would be frustrating
