  1. Yes vs the value of the picks right now, not in the future and that is what we are discussing and its not math its how things are valued on a chart
  2. I understand it, but again its not apples to apples especially in regards to our situation
  3. breer just said on cowherd that moore to the packers make sense
  4. I know what you are saying but in reality that is just not true
  5. Mack was a much much better run stopper then burns is. Thats the main difference between the 2
  6. This team isnt ass but we are 2-5. This year is a wrap. Looking towards next season we more then likely are looking at a rookie starting at some point. Historically rookies dont win right off the bat. So thats 1.5 seasons of more losing we are in store for which aligns perfectly with this deal
  7. Much like cmac I think a lot of you are way overvaluing the impact of burns. Yes he is good, yes he could be great but he is not worth nearly what you are proposing above
  8. We are 2-5 this year. We arent winning poo this year. We are more then likely going into next year with a rookie qb to get up to speed. Historically rookies dont win. So again instead of paying him a poo ton of money for really nothing it makes perfect sense to move him even if it comes at the expense of double digit sacks. I wouldnt be frustrated as it would finally show a clear plan on how to get better as a franchise
  9. Getting extra firsts is a clear vision and path for the future. Like I said, it aligns with our timeframe perfectly
  10. But we are not winning this year and probably not next year either so it all works in our favor
  11. Their best defensive player is 31. The second best is 29 Their best wr is 29, their franchise qb is 35 and is dealing with chronic injuries. You take the deal and risk the gamble.
  12. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/los-angeles-rams/cap/2023/ Looks like they are going to have to figure some poo out in regards to the cap.
  13. Its playing the long game. We arent winning this year. We will draft a qb in april and we arent winning next season with a rookie qb. Those picks will set us up nicely
  14. Its worth the risk. Do you really envision a scenario where they go deep in the playoffs next year? How do they get better in the off season?
  15. They are 3-4 this year. I guess "competitive" is relative McVay may "retire" to Amazon Donold is in his 30s Stafford is hurt and is 35 I get your point about the division but I think you have to gamble that they are going to suck moving forward. They dont have any assets or cap room to improve in the off season
  16. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2022/02/25/rams-sean-mcvay-amazon-tv-offer-contract/ Do the fuging deal please fitt please
  17. Stafford is 35 and his play hasnt been good this year. McVay flirted with retiring last year. They are going to suck once everyone jumps ship
  18. burns wouldnt have done poo to the 49ers on sunday The rams have a ton of holes and trading 2 firsts for burns is the ultimate hail mary. Nobody in that front office will likely be there in 2024 so this is them saying fug it You have to take this deal
  19. Dude you do it since its the rams, I just listed like 5 reasons why they will be one of the worst teams in the nfl in a couple of years. They will not have a qb and they will not have any way to acquire one that isnt pure poo. Their oline is in shambles as it stands now and their wunderkid coach is getting wooed by Amazon do the fuging deal fitt
  20. Its not going to help them, in fact its going to cripple them for years
  21. No quite the Hershell deal but damn near close all things considered
