  1. Yep, way to much money for him to gamble on. Take the massive guaranteed amount and move on down the road. He still has an extension in him later if he continues to play well. Too much risk of him getting hurt on a one year deal

  3. If we lose to the Jets then my fall opens up tremendously and I see a ton of fishing being done. Having said that I think there is about a 5% chance we lose to them. Vegas says we are -4 so I may be dropping some coin on the Cats for week 1. I think we will be 3-0 heading to Dallas and 4-1 after the Eagles.
  4. I am still betting on him signing something. Damn that is a huge gamble when you are leaving 60+ million on the table.
  5. Trotting him straight out there as a 20 year old rookie especially coming from Southern California may be one of the dumbest things ever in professional sports. The kid should have sat for at least half a season if not an entire one.
  6. He looked fine to me in college but I guess once the professional scouts dug into his tape there was real concern about him processing defenses on the fly. I guess the northwestern and illi games revealed a lot. But like I said to me he looked great but I am just a Joe Sixpack
  7. Erving is only owed 8 million over two years. If that’s the worst move then I say our FO did a damn good job this off-season. A potential starter at LT for that price is worth the “risk”
  8. The more I read about him the more I like him. He reminds me of a classic Belicheck pick in the mold of "dont tell me what he cant do, tell me what he can do" and we know this kid is a devastating blocker and anything beyond that is simply gravy.
  9. I'm sorry, laughing at a poster for typing this out "Everybody seems to be betting against Cam .. that doesn't seem like a smart thing to do " is not hating on cam. Cam is entering Uncle Rico territory at this point. He was a great great QB but that was an eternity ago in the NFL
  10. ^ 100% The panthers have all the leverage in this situation. My brain says that this deal gets done by the deadline, probably for a bit more than they would like to pay him but it gets done. With the cap going up in the next few seasons it probably makes sense to overpay him slightly now.
  11. Cam nut huggers are fuging hilarious at this point
  12. Sure. But there is a definite path for success moreso than previous seasons
  13. I can see wildcard if a few of these things happen. Winston is winston and cannot get his poo together. ATL is one of the worst teams in the league as a few analysts are prediciting (I dont think this happens) and the important one is that father time finally drop kicks Brady and he falls off a cliff. I can easily see all three happening especially if ATL's defense takes another step back and if those things happen Carolina is primed and ready
  14. Why is it all of the cam nut huggers have less than 100 posts?
  15. You think cam was only hurt one season? Oy vey you are not right.
