I want to trade down. We are not ready for a rookie qb. If we get one select him later in draft or rd 2 if someone falls. We need lots of draft capital. And if we are at 1 and raiders at 10ish we could fleece them

he has been playing fine, pff has him at 69 and that really doesnt justify 30+ million per, reworking it or extending him just eats up the cap down the road and he is getting older. I like him but a good RT shouldnt be that hard to find in the draft, we need to keep getting younger everywhere it looks like

thats why we are in this position we are in, backloading deals etc. We need to get out from motons deal as soon as humanly possible. I was pretty big on him coming out but now he can never gain traction and is perpetually behind with reps and game experience. And I also do not think Canalas is some magic voodoo qb whisperer like he was billed as all summer. I think with Lance and his lack of playing both in college and pros its going to take a lot to get him just to a point where he can play in a game and be productive. But if he is dirt cheap then why not, he has the physical traits for sure but mentally man I dont know if its ever going to work if Shannonhan couldnt fix him.
