  1. If he was a franchise QB I think he would have still been with the Raiders.
  2. With their Head Coach and no QB it could happen.
  3. We are never gonna have another exciting person at the QB position again are we. It is just gonna continue to be boring retread vet after boring retread vet. I am so tired of it. Thanks for nothing Wilks.
  4. I don’t see how McDaniels shackled Carr since most of the stuff I have seen people have against Carr were complaints before McDaniels was hired.
  5. I think they are both equal. Meaning they both have problems that negatively impact the teams chance for success. Jones, he needs Barkley to succeed. Carr, he is a QB from another age of the NFL.
  6. Maybe but Carr’s ceiling is Cousins Vikings. I don’t want to be Cousins Vikings, and IMO, Cousins is better than Carr. Car has fumbling problems. He takes too many sacks and is a statue in the pocket. He doesn’t go off script. At. All. He throws interceptions at the worst possible time. He has bad-day-to-have-a-bad-game syndrome. If Panthers get him they have to realize they are not getting a QB that will win them a Super Bowl. But maybe the Panthers FO only cares about getting to the Playoffs.
  7. I just hope Reich learned from Wentz. Care can’t be fixed and he definitely can’t be changed. He is who he is and I hope that smarter minds realize what they are getting if we sign Carr.
  8. Well so much for them not being interested. This makes me nervous. Carr is NOT the QB to make this team successful. Cousins Vikings is the ceiling for him and we all know how that turns out every year.
  9. Unfortunately trying is the only thing they can do. People who don’t want to trade up are gonna have to get used to the idea it may happen. Nots saying it will. It may.
  10. Good thing you are not the GM. Your fear of actually trying to get a franchise QB would have us in continued QB purgatory.
  11. Calling Minshew a mentor is hilarious.
  12. As much as I liked the staff, which I am keeping my expectations in check until they actually coach a game. I will keep my expectations for the panthers the same as last offseason/season…low.
  13. Carr definitely isn’t the QB they are looking for. A statue in the pocket and takes a ton or sacks and fumbles a lot. If the play breaks down he just scrambles but not to extend the play but to throw the ball away. Also he may have good stats but they don’t tell the story of him throwing terrible INTs in a crucial game. He can have a lot of brain fart moments. TLDR: Carr doesn't fit this staff or team.
  14. As was said on The Roar. Our ceiling with Carr is the Cousins Vikings. I have higher hopes and aspirations for this team then just making the playoffs and then getting beat by a team that can exploit Carrs weaknesses. Like what happens every time the Vikings make the playoffs.
  15. People aren’t thinking Cam they are thinking Josh Allen who, like Richardson, had accuracy issues.
  16. I was gonna post a screaming gif but of course I am in an area where I have a bad connection. You get the picture.
  17. My guess is a lot of our FA money will be spent on extending Bozeman and Burns. Hopefully we can get a WR and TE, maybe a LB as well.
  18. Whatever happens at QB this season I am willing to give Reich the benefit of the doubt. I hope he learned from his time in Indy and we don’t continue the QB carousel.
  19. If we go DT stay at 9. If we go WR trade back. WR class is kinda weak. Heck if we don’t get a QB I am fine trading back period.
  20. What vet QB? I want to win a Super Bowl not just go to the playoffs and until we get a franchise QB we are going no where. Playoffs maybe good enough for some people but not me. I am getting very impatient.
  21. I disagree. This team is built for a rookie or young QB, could be Corral, but probably not. There are no BIG QB to trade for this off-season. Rodgers isn’t coming here and Lamar is definitely not coming here. Panthers are between a rock and a hard place. Sign a 30 year old QB to a big contract and hope that we can revive his career, deja vu. Move up in the draft for a QB or take a project QB at 9. Sign a bridge QB for this year and ask the fans to be patience because 2023 will be rough QB-wise. New staff has a lot of hard questions to answer of the next few months. Glad I am not them.
  22. Well when you wrong you’re wrong and you sir are wrong. But I am glad your okay being wrong. Panthers are not gonna draft a QB in the second round. It is either first round or not at all.
  23. If we get AR I am fine with a Bridge QB as long as it isn’t Darnold.
  24. The WR class this year is really weak and we can fill the DE in free agency. If we are gonna take a risk on a player and not move up then it makes more sense to get Richardson at 9.
