Feel like if we draft AR all this hype will end with a wet fart. Not saying AR can’t be successful. Just find it weird that we trade up to 1 only to draft a player that may of been there at 9. A player that won’t be able to start for a long time. We are talking 1 to 2 seasons. If he is ever ready.

Problem is Richardson is missing more than just his completion percentage. Accuracy is a major issue. As much as I loved Cam I got real tired of his over throws. Richardson isn’t worthy of a #1 pick. You don’t trade up to 1 for a project player who has a ton of questions. We could potentially have gotten Richardson at 9. You trade up to one for a player you could put in day one. Richardson is just too raw needs too much work. If we got him at 9 I would have patience. At 1 I will have less so. Richardson and Levis aren’t in the running despite what the media is playing up. It is between Stroud and Young. Always has been.

The market value for him is 3 years 28 million. 9 million a year. That, imo, is way too much for a guy who can’t stay healthy. Good to see that the Panthers have the same concerns as the fans.

At this point I expect us to make the playoffs but never the Cup. The team needs something new. Some consequence for failing to make the cup for 4 years in a row. Patience is running out.

As I said before. I don’t care if it is Young or Stroud. I think both could be franchise QBs. Stroud will be the more traditional QB that I think Reich would be more drawn to. He is more plug and play. Young is special and if it wasn’t for his height I think he would be really special. Any team that takes him will have to build the offense around his height.

If he can stay healthy.

He should be good for the 5 or so games he plays till he is inevitably injured and out for the season. Hope the Panthers don't pay too much.

Do you think Tepper was really okay with Darnold being signed instead of Fields or us not moving up to leapfrog the Chargers to get Herbert? I think he wanted to move up for Herbert and get Fields. But Rhule either convinced him that his way was best or Tepper isn't as involved as it seems. But like you said we will rarely ever know the truth. I just hope Tepper lets the professionals pick the QB and has learned to stay out of it if he did meddle.

But he won’t be the one to make the pick and he has pretty much deferred to his coaches when the pick was made. If he didn’t then we would have Fields or Herbert since he wanted to move up for Herbert and wanted Fields as well. But he let Rhule pick both times. No reason to believe he won’t do it again with the new coaches.

Always wondered if Ian resigning was because of Rhule? Us resigning him, especially for as much as we gave him, made no sense.

I wish someone would tell Rodgers he is a QB not a GM or coach so just do your job and stop trying to be.

I feel if they had Payton they would be easy NFC South contenders but their coach is really bad.

By end of year 2 we should know if the QB we selected is legit or a bust. So I agree 3 years max for a least becoming contenders.

Thielen would be the perfect security blanket for a rookie.
