I don’t think I have ever seen as bad of a Free Agent QB list as this off-season before. Usually there is some QB that makes you think “maybe if” but not this year. Hope this doesn’t mean we are in for another year of down football. NFL has been so bad this year.

Good teams are lucky. Bad teams aren’t. Anyone remember 2015 against the Bucs when a player fumbled into the air and another player, I think it was the TE, not Greg, literally caught it in stride and ran for a TD. Stuff like that happens to good teams.

I don’t think Seattle is a bad team. They have a top 10, borderline top 5 offense. Their biggest weakness of similar to the Bengals, their defense. I will be very interested in if our defense can stop Seattles offense and if Darnold can take advantage of Seattles defense. Could be looking out a shootout.

We are gonna have to win a shootout and the teams we face in the playoffs can score. Do you trust Darnold to actually be able to win a shootout? Last time he did was against Dallas last season and he threw 2 INTs and would have had 0 TDs if not for 2 garbage time TDs. This team isn’t the 2019 49ers.

Also Rivera not adjusting at all. He was the epitomy of “This is Fine”.

Getting an OC as an HC is great because we never have to start over if our offense is great. There is always a baseline. Doesn't mean the baseline is any good, look at what happened to the Panthers defense when Rivera took over, but at least there is a baseline.

Because home field advantage won’t mean anything against whoever we face. We have yet to actually beat anyone, all our wins how come against bad teams. All of our worst loses have come against playoff teams. We got blown out but the 49ers at home. I don’t think home field advantage will mean anything. Stop beating bad teams and actually win against a playoff team. Unfortunately after the Seahawks all we face is bad teams so we may enter the playoffs on a high horse only to be brought back down to earth.

We'll see how exciting it is when we are getting our asses blown out by a team that actually deserves to be there and probably deserves to host that playoff game and only has a lower seed because NFL playoff seeding is all screwed up.
