I don’t doubt it that the players want to win. That they don’t care about getting the top pick. But if we play ourselves out of a QB it will be the same sad song and dance that has been happening the last 3 off-season. People say we can trade up but really does anyone believe we will? I don’t.

I think Burns is a fine DE. But he isn’t a game changer and his production can be replaced. So the fact we were offered two first round picks and rejected that is baffling.

He plays for Alabama will follow him when he enters the NFL and will likely be what most people mention as a flaw.

Go into 2023 with Baker and then hope a QB falls into our lap or we have to trade multiple firsts to move up to get one. No, even if you don’t like the QBs this year it doesn’t matter. QB is the number 1 need and we need to finally get one. I don’t want anymore reclamation QBs. No more Darnolds, Bakers or Bridgewaters.
