It wasn't an endorsement for Young- they royally fuged us over in the offseason when they put that room together.

Hunt is on IR.

I think Scourton and Umanmielen take the edge (ha ha) off of not taking a pass rusher high. Both look very promising.

Exhausted? Did you see the 33 yard throw to Legette? Dude has zero juice left in his arm.

So what you're saying is that even a completely washed Dalton has more big play potential than Young?

Why does this excite you? -
Would have been nice if they'd thrown the flag for blatant DPI on the pick to Toney.

Only people that hadn't watched him play / don't understand football. Pretty sure someone in here was telling me he's better than Cam Ward.

Yes. Absolutely hosed. Their RT was false starting every other play.

Whelp, that's the season. Won't make the ACC Championship Game now. Carson Beck is terrible unfortunately.

I've never seen a team get as hosed by the officials as Miami.

And I'm fine with cutting him tomorrow. -

Does he? Brees used to obliterate us because he always seemed to know where the blitzer was coming from and threw behind it. I've seen Young get blindsided by a blitzer more times than I care to count. So either he does nowhere near enough film study or he doesn't understand what he's looking at when he's on the field. Either way, it's a long way removed from the 'galaxy brained processor' they sold themselves on. -

Here's how Young would 'develop' arm strength - setting his fuging feet. His footwork is atrocious. He throws from his tiptoes when he's in the pocket - which means he gets absolutely no hip rotation or core into his throws. They're all 'arm' throws, which is why they all look so weak. He has made some good throws when he's on the run - y'know when he can get his body into the throw - but even those are regulation throws I'd expect any NFL QB to make. -
Where do you fall on the Bryce Young spectrum?

Option 4 for me. I would love to play against Bryce Young every week. -

The Bryce Young "Game Winning Drive" narrative needs to end

I've never seen a team give up 3 first round picks for a guy either. -
It's all about what they do at QB. It's clear the rest of the roster is improving. If they commit long term to Young because he's being carried to wins then we're fuged. I think that's a separate issue to finally being competitive again. There's no QB in this Draft that's going to ride in on his white horse on day one and save us, so we absolutely shouldn't be playing for Draft position.

This season was about continuing to dig ourselves out of the crater Fitterer (and by extension Young with the three first round picks we traded for him) buried us in. Tepper is determined to make Bryce happen, so we're forced to play him at QB and adjust around his obvious inadequacies.
