That's the only question, really. I would never, ever go into a season with just 2 QBs on the roster (fug having a guy on the PS). How those 3 breaks down depends on your situation - could be 3 guys competing for the job, or a bonafide starter, a good backup and a developmental guy. Either way it's the most important position in sports. I'm not ready to write off Grier just yet. We know what we have in Walker - a guy that can spot start, but he's not someone to bank on. If Stevens beats out any of those guys based on his ability to throw a football and read a defence then fantastic - the other stuff he can do is gravy. You make a good point though - Rhule loves versatility and Brady threw the guy into games last year, so he's got to be a front runner for a roster spot.

It's too early to write some of those players off, especially with COVID opt outs. That said I never have high hopes for a Hurney Draft. We'll know for sure this year.

I wobbled with the first bold, and you lost me with the second one. The WTFs finished with a 7-9 record. Rivera backing his way into the Playoffs is not to be commended - nor was it when he did it here. They've got some absolute ballers on that WTFs team - that Dline is nasty. That said, they're worse than us (as evidenced by us defeating them last season), but they played in a pathetic division. Unlike the murderer's row that we find ourselves in.

The only real annoyance I have with Tepper so far is that he sat back that first year. If I'd just spent $2bn on a football team I'd be coming in with a new team and ideas. I wouldn't be assessing what was already going on - we knew what was already going on wasn't working. You do of course realise he went to Alabama, right? This isn't some small school kid that's going to grow when he hits the NFL. He went to a (disgusting) football factory that maxes out it's players physically. Our best hope is that he trims down to 320-330lbs and regains some of that athleticism as he looked immobile in Mobile.
