  1. You're on account number three and still crying about what Igo posts like anyone gives a damn. Stay in your lane.
  2. We're no better off now than we were with that buffoon big guy. Hell at least with Marty and Ron we could compete in our division which is now weakened significantly. This regime truly has no excuse to be a doormat this season.
  3. Idk if connecting this with one of Hurney's many busts is the flex you think it is. Especially considering one of our recent 2nd round picks all but has one foot out the door.
  4. We still suck until proven otherwise though Ricky Bobby.
  5. Don't bother looking at the weather forecast until at least Friday it could end up being a nice sunny day.
  6. You only see this as a quick chance to score points because you have always carried water for him and got your feelings hurt in past threads. While all it does is show at one point I was very pro Rhule and not one of these dreaded "haters" you huff and puff about in every thread that has any level of criticism about Matt Rhule. The 2020 season did show some definitive promise. And in so looking at his way of doing things like dumping Teddy and players like Perryman sounded good but it eventually became a matter of is this guy operating with a real plan or any kind of framework or is he just throwing poo at the wall hoping something sticks. As of now it is looking like the latter. If you're arguing otherwise stand by that.
  7. Oh we're digging up the old threads now. You know it almost sounds like "we" even myself included gave Rhule the benefit of the doubt at that time. But last I checked though the record reflects a 5 win season and some decisions we may have looked at one way back then looking different now. You choose to view this through a lens to direct criticism back at me instead of correctly assessing the move with the benefit of time. And yes we got Cade Mays but we didn't need that pick from the Raiders to accomplish that he was a 6th round pick.
  8. He signed a 63 million dollar contract and was given the keys to the franchise. My goodness cut the waterworks here.
  9. It wasn't a bad decision? What was the line from Rhule when the move was made. That he wasn't a "fit"? He got a speeding ticket big whoop. Shi Smith got arrested and he turned it around. It fits a pattern of overall impatience with this regime which ironically enough that same impatience has cost us significantly in both draft capital and salary cap space with various decisions. At the end of the day people who want to excuse it will do so and if that's the case here that's your prerogative.
  10. Folks will sing the company line rn but if our run defense is cheeks come Oct you know what time it will be they'll be screaming lol.
  11. Mostly everyone applauded moving on from Teddy Bridgewater yet we went on to replace him with a far worse QB for even more investment. People have given the decision makers the benefit of the doubt in the past but they have been spotty at best. Any skepticism now has been well earned that's just reality.
  12. He is offering an opinion not based around being a kiss ass all the time. Yes the staff can and will make some mistakes. Like when we signed an LB then traded him while we went on to become thin at the position and he went on to become a pro bowler.
  13. Another pick from last years class bites the dust. Looking like some Hurneyesque picks in the mix.
  14. In fairness we have had the misfortune of witnessing Marty Hurney navigate mid to late round picks for many years and to say the least not many people were keen to be using this excuse.
  15. We really need Christensen to become a linchpin. If he doesn't take the next step that's nothing to show for on the OL in the draft in a season where we were 31st in the league. For all the criticism of Ron Rivera over the oline the fanbase would go nuclear if it were him bumbling his way through building a lineup like this and squandering picks on long snappers.
  16. You're going on and on and on about haters and hindsight like it's everyone else who is biased and already has their mind made up while you are completely objective and not at all just bulldozing over any valid criticism bc you want this place to be a pro Rhule echo chamber. Sorry pal that's not how life works. He was handed the keys to the franchise from the get go and made a statement with his first big move in sending Cam Newton packing. Since then he's been on the clock like any other head coach before him. Now I would be thrilled if he goes on to turn this franchise around and we become legit contenders. But I don't have to entertain false notions in the meantime as if he has made no mistakes along the way. We'll see how this season shakes out.
  17. Oh come on there were olinemen to be had in the draft. We took a WR who we can't even get to stay on the field and then we paid RA 30 million dollars and we took a long snapper we cut a year later instead of more OL depth. That's two right there that could help in solidifying our oline. Let's also not forget the fact that Fitterer and Rhule went out and signed two of the worst olinemen to overpay contracts on the first day of free agency last year. It was not an ideal situation to try and fix in a short time period granted but again the way we have gone about it has not been necessarily helpful either and some realistic criticism has been warranted.
  18. Yeah that's what I worry about as well then we are stuck with just mediocre all over again which is why we moved on from Ron. But tbh the Rhule hype from some folks just doesn't make any sense. It's like Chip Kelly without the wins or playoffs or really any success early on. But folks keep going to bat for these results like he's their dad lol.
  19. I'm responding to your response to his silly claim lol. The pro Rhule crowd have gone off the deep end as much as anyone else. Winning will erase most if not all of this mud slinging.
  20. That’s just foolishness. Less than 1% of the fanbase would actually be upset if we start winning and kicking ass in the division. Some people will say anything to try to be different.
  21. *signs Teddy Bridgewater to a 63 million dollar contract only to trade him one year later because he criticized the staff for incompetence* *trades three picks for Sam Darnold and guarantees him almost 19 million dollars to be a backup* *after refusing to draft a QB the first two years they finally take one only to give XFL legend PJ Walker more reps* Rebuild eh?
  22. Of course there were holes but the way we went about it didn't always help. Rhule's first draft was all defense and by his 2nd year he fielded the 2nd worst oline in all of the NFL. Here we are in year 3 and our backup OL has sent two QB's to IR in preseason. This is an offensive league at the end of the day and teams go as far as they are willing to invest in the trenches. Let's hope Baker can stay upright it's going to be a long season.
  23. 31st ranked oline last year two QB's already injured this year behind our "depth" yet still some fans haven't learned. It's fascinating really.
