No one can give the answer to this until we get at least a handful of games under our belt next season.
-
Right now we have something strong to build on heading into a very crucial offseason. Morgan needs to nail the draft and free agency. Canales and Bryce need to hit the ground running early in the season and only then will we have an early confirmation. Call me glass half full if you like but I'm a Charlotte sports fan I know better than to assume anything too early. By Halloween next year we'll know.

To win the way we did to close the season and still have the 8th pick is pretty ideal all things considered I'll gladly take it.
-
Suck it Falcons
-
Miles Sanders with a redemption touchdown I have to give credit where it's due he came to play today. This is how you enter the offseason if you're in the shape we've been. Best case scenario.
-
1st and goal at the 1 get in the damn end zone and leave ATL with a dub. This would be the first game with 40+ points since 2018.
-
Bryce with the ball first. Go out there and win it.
-
Game winning drive would be fantastic but we can't leave it up to Eddie Finkle
-
Yeah if we're going to give up a record number of points let's drop 40+ today fug it.
-
Penix is going to be a problem in the future maybe
-
One thing I can say for sure is Bryce's confidence is night and day he looks like everything is coming naturally and there's no need to overthink anything so that's at least something to build on heading into the offseason.
-
Tommy Tremble sighting. I like what I'm seeing from the redzone offense
-
Defense is terrible but Penix is making some impressive throws
-
Baker Mayfield looks pretty pedestrian when he isn't playing against the Panthers defense
-
10-3 pleasantly surprised

No Robert Hunt? Prepare thy anus...

F*ck the Falcons

Bryce Young post benching if it were a full season worth of stats.
frankw replied to Car123's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you're going to insert yourself into the convo could you at least read the posts? My responses were all in regards to attempts to diminish Goff because he has a really good roster around him. He's been putting up numbers for years some better than others but he's produced even when the pieces around him were not always ideal. That's what we're waiting to see for our own guy. -
I'm tired of seeing the Chiefs win so it would be a change of pace to see the Ravens in the Super Bowl but I still have a hard time seeing them getting past Mahomes. I mean Lamar is currently out there being the whole offense just to have a 14-3 lead on a bad Browns team with two jag ass quarterbacks.

And then log on here and lecture people about how miserable they are because they don't shamelessly bandwagon like a ten year old lol

Honestly I wasn't even thrilled about paying Chuba what we did just as I was iffy about trading up into the 2nd to draft an RB who was also injured. I have and continue to be in the camp that we can find good backs in the mid rounds of the draft. I know full well the Panthers history of overinvesting in the position. But I'm not going to sit here and take away what he's done for the offense this season. He has more often than not been our offense and helped give this team a much needed jolt aside from that one Bucs game. Dave Canales himself has gone out of his way to acknowledge how important a player like Chuba has been for our young group. First of all. Chuba had 900 yards and 5 scores with that OL last season and the worst passing offense in the NFL. That's not what I've said. Last year the talk was about the OL being bad which it was and we addressed it very strongly with a significant financial investment. Now we have to turn our attention to the defense. And yes that significant investment in the OL meant we would always have a subpar defense at best this season. And it's been talked about a great deal to the point our DC may be on his way out the door. The defense has to be the priority going forward. I've already posted the statistics for all three backs this season if you want to maintain that position that's up to you but Chuba is right there with Bijan and Kamara was an afterthought this season. -

Didn't say he was a top 5 back in the NFL this is about what you said regarding the division as a means to diminish him. Bijan currently has 96 more rushing yards than Hubbard while playing an additional game. YPC is also similar with Bijan at 4.7 and Chuba at 4.8. Longest run still comparable with Bijan at 37 and Chuba at 38. Touchdowns Bijan has 12 Hubbard has 10. All this while missing the final two games of the season. Kamara is 18th in rushing yards has 4.2 YPC and is 23rd in touchdowns. He isn't even in the convo here and to put him ahead of Chuba at this point in time is certainly an opinion to say the least. -

Oh you've already forgotten your 3rd best RB in the division remark? 8th in the NFL in rushing yards with an anemic at best passing offense all season.
