It's not a totally invalid comparison but maybe we should see this man in a Panthers uniform before mentioning him in the same breath as one of only three Panthers players in the NFL hall of fame. By comparison Cam Newton wasn't even regarded by many as the best quarterback in his class let alone the best player and he won a national championship. Bryce has a lot of hype to live up to and it's only building more. I'm eager to see him make it a reality.

I agree with you to a point but my friend that conversation isn't going anywhere. Thats going to be prevalent in the fanbase here in the fanbases of other teams we play and in the media for the next year or so minimum until Bryce Young puts his thing down and silences all the noise. Absolutely. The #1 is always a risk. Looking at the history of the pick and the QB position the last ten years isn't kind. I truly hope and believe our luck is due to change though

Who gives af about PJ we didn't draft him #1 overall and give up our top WR and another first in the process. Folks can choose to believe in BY. I believe in him. But the reality is this is a very big gamble.
