We've got quite a lot invested in the secondary already not sure how much more we can risk. 1st round top ten pick another on a significant contract coming off an achilles tear another we traded a 3rd for. Not much wiggle room.

One thing is for sure. The folks who are hella sensitive and pooing posts about the size issue might as well buckle in because it isn't going anywhere and our rivals and opponents will be sure to let us know about it.

Oh shush lol. I like a lot of things about Bryce Young’s tape. But just like Stroud and Richardson there are some things that make you go hmm. I will fully support any of the top 3. Draft talk is just talk. When it comes to football your team is your team and your guy is your guy. As long as he doesn't stink up the joint
-
Absolutely that's off the table. And honestly it probably would be either way unless we draft AR. No use risking your first overall pick early. That's why we signed Sanders anyway.
-
Yeah of course but it damn sure should be for the smallest QB in the league. Fans who think defensive coordinators and pass rushers are going to be super delicate with him because we drafted him first overall and he has a hype machine behind him should accustom themselves to reality.
-
You don't actually believe this do you? If Young's the pick no way we sit pat with this mentality. We should and will solidify the oline. It will need to be one of the top units in football.

Brees is overrated AF and only made it to one conference championship in his final decade in the league. Thanks in large part to Cam Newton. If we are selling ourselves on Young I'd rather focus on him being 1of1 based on his height/weight rather than continually trying to shoehorn comparisons to Brees and Wilson.
-
Yeah he had a particularly ugly RZ INT in the end zone. Which when you consider all the talk about Stroud's struggles against pressure you would think you'd never see that from Young. There's things to like from both prospects but the fangirling is leading to some takes essentially suggesting Young has significantly less potential bust possibility than Stroud. And that's just not reality. They both have their looming cons and that's why Chicago moved out of 1.
-
It's not just about injuries but also overcoming a disadvantage against defenses. Smaller details become more apparent at the next level. At this stage there's too little data to suggest his size will hinder his career or not because there have just been so few in his height/weight range. But defensive coordinators will be looking over that Bama tape same as us and they will hone in on the LSU game in particular.

Well. We hope Will Levis isn't being considered. And if Young had the lead as the best undisputed prospect of his class and generational QB level hype confirmed Chicago wouldn't have budged in any trade. The consensus says the gap between the top 3 isn’t as wide as others suggest

Ya'll should have known better than to trust Payton Manning.
