  1. There's only one way for Sam to become a hall of fame quarterback.
  2. There's no plan though. We paid both Rozier and Martin. Mitch is going down the same path that got him sent packing from the Lakers.
  3. Then stop coming here if you hate it so much.
  4. Sounds like a waste of a lottery pick then. All the Mitch praise the last few years isn't aging well.
  5. True. But he's got 18 million reasons to be accommodating to the Panthers.
  6. What else would he say though? These reporters really think they're gonna get more than a canned response for these gotcha questions?
  7. Did Shaq ride up to camp with Sammy franchise last year?
  8. There's no one move fix. Should have drafted Eason and Williams and kept it pushing but what's done is done. I'd be willing to move Terry but only if we can solidify center in return. I do not want to watch Plumlee again he stinks. Kemba will check the feels boxes but that isn't enough anymore I just want to see some basic playoff competition. Hey hopefully this works out I'm not trying to rain on your parade do your thing fellas.
  9. Kemba has maybe one or two seasons left in him. Doubling down on this going in reverse thing with Clifford and Kemba when we are trying to hand LaMelo the keys isn't the move. Cody is a stud on defense and his offensive game is catching up. I just want to see our young talent develop. We've had a 3rd overall pick 11th overall 13th and 15th overall and here we are talking about bringing back Kemba Walker
  10. Good franchises trying to turn a corner can make use of talent like Bouknight. Bad franchises need to bring back fan favorites from yesteryear who are slowly washing out of the league. I sincerely hope they make room for James this season and he takes the next step. I'm not going to hold my breath on that with Clifford though.
  11. Teams are paying Kemba to leave. I love him too but we gotta face facts. And honestly if we do this we need to trade Bouknight and get value for him now bc what a waste of a pick to have zero confidence in the kid.
  12. I guess you can kick the tires for vet minimum. But at this stage in his career what is the purpose? Any emotional reunion will be short lived and I'd rather just see younger players get minutes than try to shoehorn in guys like Thomas or Walker.
  13. He isn't required to be a mouthpiece for the staff and front office. It's their job to sell their team identity to the fanbase not the other way around. There have been some dramatic takes about Rhule the last few months but when Matt makes comments like these before camp that is of course only going to further stir the pot.
  14. Good stuff now let's get to work. He's already QB2 as far as I'm concerned.
  15. Someone said something negative about Mr. Tepper. Open the flood gates let's see who can be the most loyal sycophant and polish his knob the fastest. Annnnnnd gooooo!
  16. Bamboozled by a rando on Twitter.
  17. QB is the most sought after position now. Corral Ridder and Willis and their respective agents all know they play for teams where the starting QB position is either unsettled or shaky. I don't blame them one bit for getting all the guaranteed money they can.
  18. Society and intellectual thought in general is in a downward spiral regardless of whatever shenanigans about sports we might be discussing at any given moment. I personally wouldn't boo my own team I would just get up and leave but if someone else does I don't think it's an unspeakable thing to endure. There are soccer players who get bananas thrown at them in other countries now that is disgusting and indefensible. But we don't have to agree on the boos it's fine I just hope the offense performs better. Winning cures all as the saying goes.
  19. If Cam Newton had been the same level of consensus bust and terrible starter as Sam Darnold by his fifth year no way in hell any Panthers fan would be showing up to grovel about how well he handled himself. I see the clear difference in perception and I'll leave it at that.
  20. Nobody said you are weak minded. I am sorry we cannot agree that it is worth complimenting him for handling being the worst starting quarterback of the last several years because he does so quietly and without complaint. After the conclusion of the upcoming season he will have made almost 50 million in career earnings after five years. He's set for life. We don't need to pat him on the back and rub his tummy.
  21. At the time Sam and Robbie combined were sitting on 40 million dollars in guaranteed money. I think plenty of people here in these financial times would welcome boos for that much money.
  22. Cliche he says after caping for two of the worst quarterbacks in the league the last two years.
  23. Luke is the definitive nice guy. But the difference is he loved football and he flipped a switch on gamedays. He was a dog off a leash on the football field. Mills was a stout competitor out there as well despite his off field personality. Sam Darnold has the physical talent he just doesn't seem like he loves football. That's okay. But that is not going to make this football team one worth watching. I hope he finds happiness in whatever path he chooses next. He will have a very good chunk of change to rest up on and invest how he chooses. I'm hoping Baker can be the guy for us but I'm not falling head over heels for anyone until I see sustained success. He has the potential to be what we need though. It all depends on what he has learned through the mess with the Browns and applies that in the future here.
  24. Nice guy no doubt. Looks like he's already been hitting a couple buffets here and there. I don't blame him. Just feels awkward how eager some people are to be complimentary for him taking 19 million dollars and keeping his head down. We had folks losing their minds over a QB wearing a scarf and though he had ups and downs until the arm fell off he was still a top 15 QB any given Sunday. I don't think the Wine and Cheesers are going to be very fond of Baker he has that cocky mentality in him. But that's what we need. We don't need a team of nice guys. That's why we've been trading places with the Falcons for last place in our division the last few seasons.
  25. Baker Mayfield is a former first overall pick he's still young and he just went for a fifth. I have to think if there were teams looking we would have already heard rumblings about possible trades for Robbie. Other teams see him on social media the same as us fans. If he has a productive season again there could be a move provided Marshall Jr makes strides. But it's going to take a Baker Mayfield resurgence to restore Anderson’s value in the league. Well that and deleting his Twitter app.
