  1. I don't really have any doubt who will be LT but that bit about Christensen is still pretty maddening.
  2. We definitely can it's just the question of sustainability. The Browns Bills and even the Jags with Blake Bortles have competed in the playoffs after lengthy droughts. Just get a not worst QB in the league in here ffs lol.
  3. Well if that's the case you go with the obvious because Rhule has had two shots at QB. Let Fitterer run the show.
  4. Oh not at the moment no. There's def hope in the building now. What I mean is let's not for sure squash that hope with someone we already know we are just waiting for the inevitable moment of catastrophe. Even a Baker/Corral combo there is the unknown and that is not much better for the moment but we still have some hope. At the very least we can end our season trending in an upward trajectory instead of watching our defense say fug this our QB is booty why bother.
  5. Fug it bring him in I guess. Better than the current alternative.
  6. Darnold starting is bad for the locker room. When he inevitably reverts to his usual ways after a few games we will be right back where we started. Even the Jets are much better off with that guy far the fug away from their team. They at least ended their season with some fight in them. I am simply so damn tired of this let's start Sam because we have no other choice crap. We do have a choice. He's a sunk cost what's done is done. Say goodbye.
  7. Darnold as the starting QB guarantees our home games will be overrun with opposing fans. Franchise low point.
  8. He just uploaded a music video bc he hit 100k subscribers and people think he's a legit source. This is what social media has become now.
  9. Generally folks who "don't have any love for Tepper" don't spend several pages arguing on his behalf while pulling in pie from SizzleBuzz. This thread has ran it's course for sure.
  10. For reference Dunlap had 8.5 Burns had 9. He would still be a welcome addition even for the short term.
  11. Understandable as a local sports fan in these parts.
  12. I am curious to see how this thread goes in relation to who is more vocally critical of Robby and if they are also simultaneously in the "you negative complainers need to stop criticizing Matt Rhule 24/7" camp. Because we know it wasn't all Scott Fitterer's idea to build our roster around two New York Jets (lol) cast-offs.
  13. Mr. Tepper must be so relieved to know there are such staunch defenders of his honor here on the carolinahuddledotcom.
  14. Matt Rhule is the best head coach in the NFC and David Tepper is a genius playing 4-D chess just waiting to make his final move and take over the NFL for years to come. Am I doing this right up to the standards of the resident sycophants?
  15. I would have been fine with D'Antoni as a short term solution but the man is 71 years old let's be real about this. We weren't going to get Ham because why would he choose Charlotte over the Lakers. As long as Kenny Atkinson has learned from his past and is not stubborn as a mule like Borrego was he has a solid chance of being successful here.
  16. So he's as reactionary as the average huddler others complain so much about. Very encouraging.
  17. Yeah I hear this completely. This is my big concern. If someone would like to sell me on this hire I would be happy to reward them with pie.
  18. I just don't believe this because the Panthers know a thing or two about a QB with a banged up shoulder and they also know a thing or two about a bad investment in a risky QB. If they do this we can officially put a hold on the Scott Fitterer praise that has been going around lately.
  19. TBD until we see what happens with quarterback.
  20. Yeah but he had an all new change of scenery here and still threw the same awful interceptions. I just don't get how people are still trying to argue about this. My word let's move on the Jets certainly did and at our expense.
  21. Yep his arm talent was the sole trait that many here tried to use to make sense of the trade. But we learned quickly the processing ability just is not there and no amount of coaching or playing more will change it. The Jets had a QB who came off the practice squad post Darnold trade and had better results than anything Sam Darnold has done in college or the NFL. It's a wrap.
