Well unfortunately nothing to us. But he has been giving to the rest of the league. He's been so bad he was getting opposing defenders all kinds of accolades and salary increases. Now though he's taking back. You can't lose to a Bryce Young led offense and not expect swift ramifications ya know?

I did want us to commit more resources to the offense but I think they swung too hard in one offseason. Now it's going to take another hard swing the other way to get the defense in even halfway decent shape. We're going to know fairly quickly if Morgan is the man to save this franchise.

Ultimately neither are going to help the team around them develop as both have looked like backups at best multiple times this season. As far as development of Bryce Young. Unfortunately playing more isn't going to change his lack of necessary physical traits.

We spent 150 million dollars in free agency to put two massive linemen in front of Bryce to the detriment of the defense and you say "get his dick out your mouth everything ain't about him". Stay mad.

I agree those were certainly contributing circumstances. It was all of that paired with the fact our team just looked to be in a fog throughout the game. Even with all those things you mentioned we still were in that game late.

Looks like Eberflus is cooked. Sounds like Thomas Brown is getting some shine from the local media in his first game as OC there though. I'll be interested to see how that plays out the rest of the season. It helps to have a QB that actually has physical tools to speak of.

It always amazes me when someone barrels in and acts like only one player lost that Super Bowl. We had a stacked team. Generational players on both sides of the ball in Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly. Yet it was Kony Ealy that could have been the MVP of the game if he had made just a few more plays and kept his head on straight at the end. But he was one of the few guys that didn't look like a deer in the headlights in the second half. It's hard for some Panthers fans to admit their favorite players from the best Panthers team in history collectively let that one slip away. Ron Rivera damn sure didn't help much either.

Hard to forget those blowout losses against the Bears and Commanders. Call me cynical but barely defeating the Saints and Giants with laughably low passing output isn't convincing. Talk to me after the Chiefs game. I need to see Canales team hang with them at home. If we get the doors blown off let em' have it.

You're blaming Jaycee Horn because we gutted the defense to reallocate significant resources to the offense in order to attempt to make Bryce Young look like a real QB?

It's interesting that people rightfully pointing out that Cam deserves better from the team on this issue triggers the loudest Bryce Young defender to such a point. But it is on brand for some of ya'll.

The Paul brothers are very good at grifting that's about it.. Zero redeeming qualities from either. Clout chasers. This was a sham. At least Mike got him a quick $20 million even if it meant embarrassing himself in front of millions of people and letting these dweebs clown on him like he's their son.

I agree on Ward. But at this point it is a nonstarter to consider keeping Dalton. He has been only marginally better than Bryce Young and those two stinkers against the Bears and Commanders are why we were one of the only teams to seek out his services. Need to look elsewhere.

I don't think it would actually happen. The only thing the two of them need to be concerned about is how quickly the league humbles him and if he can mature beyond this entitled persona that leads to him publicly bashing his offensive linemen. That will not last long in the NFL regardless of where he ends up.

That's perfectly fine. I agree. Also to preface all this I want to be clear that I want him to succeed. That doesn't mean that there has to be any going out of my way to tell myself he did or didn't like this or that move when he worked with Fitterer though. The only people that know worked with them. And no one is going to talk anytime soon. All that matters is what Dan does in the upcoming draft. He needs to nail it. No pressure.
