Bigly Walterfootball Power Rankings drop
Panthers Rhule replied to janderson20vt's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's what most teams do regardless of position battles. OL move around the line when necessary. Every team puts their best out there. With reps at different positions they will know what they are supposed to do wherever they are playing on the line and it helps them work together when they are playing the preferred position because they know where the other position is supposed to be. -
It's not just the Huddle that is slowly thawing and warming to the prospect of a better Panther's team this season but also people around the league. In another post we read the Execs see us around 10th but at NFL.com we do a little better. We ranked tied for 8th with 3 predicting we earn the final playoff spot. T-8) Panthers (3) NO VOTES NO VOTES 3 VOTES: Bhanpuri, Filice, Rank 2022 NFL playoff predictions: Will Chiefs be dethroned in uber-competitive AFC West? I think both groups are fair and correct even if I personally think we can win the South this season.

To me he has it backwards. What in the world were we doing at 14 to begin with? I don't see how any serious person would say that we look worse going into this season than finishing last season. -
And that line is badly injured. I would put those Bucs games in the potential upsets category. I don't think they'll be that great this season. It's over.

Fitterer going into 2022 season

Yeah, compare him to the coach and then compare TMJ to the coach as a reference and remember that the coach is also a little closer too. I was expecting that too. Hopefully. That would be great Coach Rhule. Good job. Thanks, The Huddle

Every time we look bad we can at least say that at least we're not the Jags. I keep waiting for the league to move that team but I guess they will just leave it there to scare young children into being good or they may go to Jacksonville!!! Poor Trevor.

But Chinn can play LB if necessary. That's why we have all these hybrid or multi-position players. The team's full of them and we added another today. They give us roster flexibility as well as scheme looks.

Dang! We finally looked like we had a good kicker and he gets hurt kicking into a net in pre-season for the whole season. That sucks. Poor guy. Now we have to get lucky again. Kickers are important and especially if a team hopes for a playoff run which they all do before you start. I'm watching.

If Lovette is cut then we have CMC, Foreman and Chuba at RB, right? I'm curious to see where they list Shenault.

Do you have a herpes? I have a herpes. What is that? Johnny Dangerously? I remember that movie.

Technically no because they are still waiting for the Raiders response. There has to be a personality problem there. Somebody important isn't happy with him.

Nor do I but I wouldn't be mad if we traded TMJ if the price is right. I'd prefer to keep Zystra over him at this point but I don't get to see what he does or doesn't do when he actually practices but Zystra we at least know can make some plays in a real game.

There's a brokeback mountain game? What is the objective if I dare to ask?

Panthers trade for wide receiver Laviska Shenault
Panthers Rhule replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, good teams don't make bad trades usually. Bad teams do. They are exactly who you should trade with as they keep changing coaches and systems and players every 2 or 3 years Me too. I forgot to use the sarcasm font. -
He's better than Lovett tho. C'mon.

I think 600 yds was both seasons combines yds. McAdoo was only there 1 season, 2020. All his TDs came in that season. He had none last year. No, you're right. Thanks for the correction! -

McAdoo coached him at Jax and he had over 300 yds and 5 tds. I think he knows what we're getting and how to use him correctly because he's done it before. -

NFL. com confirms The Jaguars traded Shenault to the Carolina Panthers on Monday in exchange for a 2023 seventh-round draft pick and a 2024 sixth-round selection, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. Panthers acquire WR Laviska Shenault from Jaguars in trade (nfl.com) I think that's a nice trade. I'm starting to like Jax. They can keep trading us their top picks for late rounders all day. -

Nooooo, you're the first person who's thought of that and you got to take a shot at a coach too. It's looking like today is going to be your day. -

I forgot about the McAdoo connection. So, the narrative around him says he was good in his rookie season but not as good last year. He scored the 5 TDs under McAdoo in his rookie season. I guess he knows how to use him correctly and can make him fit. We could list him as an RB and put 6 other WRs on the list. What if our RBs were CMC, Foreman, Chuba and Laviska? I know Chuba can't catch but he can run okay and isn't he returning kicks too? That other RB, can't think of his name at the moment, didn't look very good the other night. -
It's good to see positions that are or were considered weaknesses shine in the preseason. Top players were on the OL and at QB, and DL and LB. That's a pleasant surprise.
