  1. I’m sure Chris Stapleton will remain the only “country” artist I will ever like…..because he’s not.
  2. I actually agree with this. Not good.
  3. Tried listening to it (my daughter and SIL love it), they’ve seen some big names in concerts at the Ryman, as well as some arena in Nashville they say is too big, Hang Out Fest in Alabama and a couple venues in Kentucky. They also like Sturgil Simpson, Jason Isbell and others you named. I’ve heard them all….just don’t like that music at all…so my friends are shocked I’m such a big fan of Stapleton. My daughter has been telling me about him and his wife Morgane for years. Should have listened.
  4. I know, have most of his music (that isn’t too twangy) on my Spotify, I was Wrong is one of my favorites. Tennessee Whiskey has some amazing runs. He can sing anything.
  5. I agree. As I said on another thread on here, I’m A big Blues fan, so so was stunned to hear that amazing voice coming out of a guy with all that hair wearing a cowboy hat. Mind blowing.
  6. I have to see this guy…..in my youth, got to see everyone that was anyone live. Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Eagles, Janis Joplin, Clapton, Traffic, etc etc etc. normally, I strongly dislike country music…,closest I’ve ever been to liking anything country related was working with Johnny Cash’s first wife, Vivian, who was a wonderful lady, loved her. He’s not really country, he’s not to be pigeon holed. Never heard this range or talent from any country singer. Now this. Metallica cover?
  7. The QB position….where grown men act like delusional, lovesick little girls. Kinda creepy/embarrassing.
  8. They’re usually the ones that post a 100 responses on one thread….they’re ignored, a nice short thread.
  9. Not really….more for folks that don’t suffer fools gladly.
  10. No, not at all…,simply presenting another scenario. I believe in him, doesn’t matter to me where, as long as he’s happy. Everyone wins if he succeeds in Carolina.
  11. I wish someone loved me as much as you love PJ…….
  12. Well, Sam loves Charlotte….give him a chance to be good enough. If he improves, trade him next year, at least you’re not exposing a rookie to an oline that is a work in progress. Won’t be long till you find out what you have.
  13. The NFL is a business, strictly business, the players also treat it that way. If they can further their career (on or off the field) by putting on another jersey, they will.
  14. That WR was one of Sam’s go to guy. Went undrafted.
  15. Sammy needs to live with his oline……hang out, praise, buy them gifts, constant communication. Form a deep bound. He needs to make them run through a wall for him. Make it easier for them by buying time in the pocket with his mobility. Make it that, for what they lack in talent, they will make up for in a single passion to protect their guys.
  16. To be fair to them, Sam is going into his 4th season, Fields is just a rookie. Plus, the QB position will always have it’s fanboys. In that, guys are kinda like pubescent girls. *This forum is impressive that it has few fans I describe above, just directed at the weirdos that feel compelled to go to another team site, Twitter or Facebook to offer stupid takes on QBs on other teams….normally mental giants with the profound “he sucks”, or commenting on the looks of opposing QB. Sh*t like that. If he’s not you QB, why do you care?
  17. Sark might not have been drunk, but Sam thought he was “weird”.
  18. The QB just has to make up for the deficiencies of the line. No choice, no excuses. At least there are weapons, good ones.
  19. Isn’t he the guy that kept giving a status report on the arrival of Sams’ sectional? That’s non-sports chick reporting right there.
  20. I feel for him (Zack) as well. Sam started out much better, with less talent and poor coaching. Hope they give him a chance. They loved his cockiness, doubt that lasts if he doesn’t win. Helicopter parents aren’t going down so well either.
  21. Maybe I just heard so much raving about his arm, running ability his entire senior year….Jordan said he would be a star (heard through his FIL, in our tailgate and season ticket group), Sam kept raving about him as well. They kept saying, just wait…..
