  1. Oh believe me I know. I watched around 9 games now that I could get for free and through YouTube. The problem is though now he doesn't have a LT. His LT last year was good, this year it's looking like a Byron Bell situation.
  2. Sam going to get his cheeks clapped next year behind this line.
  3. Sam better have quick feet or he about to get clapped out next year.
  4. Probably. They seem dumb enough to leave a clapped out Sam Darnold to fend for himself next year, not realizing they don't have a snowball's chance in hell on finding his replacement next off-season.
  5. Realistic. Panthers are a two time Super Bowl loser and 3 in row losing season team for a reason.
  6. There's going to be a lot of trade up tomorrow. I feel like the Panthers will be the second as the board is going to move quick.
  7. Follow you instinct and you'll make it to game 8 of next season still posting, and not hiding after an off-season of chest thumping.
  8. You're correct, if you can build an entirely stacked defense. Such as the Bears and 49er's... but then there's something still missing. Maybe we'll be in the market for that something in 2022 when the whole "defense wins championships" thing wanes just like the 49er's and Bears.
  9. Oh poo we're the next Bears. GET IN HERE BOYSS WOOOOOOOOO!
  10. I wanted either, Fields, trade down, or a tackle. A corner is just serious mismanagement. It's unlikely he lives up to the pick, statistically speaking, and even if he does he'll cost a massive amount to keep on the team. Corners are lost in free agency so often because bad teams have great corners, and still don't compete.
  11. You have to. There's no choices now, it's Sam and no prospect in the next years draft that they'll be able to get to. This is similar to the Jake days, but only if Jake came in as a certified bust. Maybe we'll get lucky one year and have so much talent throughout almost every position on the team that we can lose another Super Bowl.
  12. What were the Panthers in games decided by a touchdown or less? Or, what were the Panthers in last drives to end the game within a single score. I recall about 8 games that could have played differently.
  13. People have opinions. Last off-season the 'armchair GM's' said Teddy wasn't it, and we were going to win 5 games and miss out of quarterback prospects. Take a trip back in time and read the threads. Then maybe you want poo on everyone's opinion that doesn't align with you own (the front office's I mean).
  14. There were 8 games last year we could have won with a talented leader at the helm. I don't think Matt is using his head. He's playing it safe.
  15. It's not about busting or not really. It's about where the talent is, and how to build a team. There's countless teams over the last decade that had everything, but the position that matters most.
  16. For the record I don't think this pick moves the needle, good, elite, whatever. There's been too many teams with an elite CB 'trapped' on them. It's really a matter of chance if he turns out to be worth the 8th pick. Even if he somehow lives up to it, it may be another Christian situation where an elite player spends his days breaking records on a poorly built team with too much talent in the wrong positions.
  17. Wrong, it was non-stop Bridgewater sucks, and 'we're going to win 5 games and be out of the quarterback picture'. They were dead on, and the 'steady hands' were so wrong that they hid 8 games into the season and only crawled out a few months into spring.
  18. It's hard being right most of the time. Right last year, the year before, and this year. Poor moves need to be called out.
  19. Chinn is okay, but having an elite secondary doesn't win too many games. 7-10 next season with Darnold being the whipping boy.
  20. It's not just changing the team, top 10 corners are busting at a very high rate. Just think about the best corners in the league in the apst decade, then either look up, or think about where they were taken in the draft. This front office are not following any type of analytical thinking.
  21. They're not going to trade up in the first. They're all too chicken poo. The front office are scared. Fitt, Tepper, Rhule are all trying to play the safest they can. It's why Horn was the pick. It's someone they evaluated to the point they knew what they were getting, and stuck with. It's a lot like Dave Gettleman's time in Carolina where he fell in love with certain prospects and made sure he stuck with them, telegraphing it the entire way. If they trade up it's going to be mid 2nd and 3rd round for a prospect they're afraid won't be there, just like Dave Gettleman, unfortunately.
  22. Don't worry, Mr. Rhule will sure coach him up, just like he's going to do with Sam. Yikes.
  23. That's smart, we don't want to hurt his feelings with competition. Same with Sam, we really need these two to feel the entire backing of the Panthers organization so they don't get their feelings hurt with the idea of competing.
