Panthers Select Xavier Legette WR - Pick 32, Round 1
Jackie Lee replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like these angles on the XL highlights better than the stuff I saw pre-draft, routes/stiffness not as rough as I remember thinking from the tv angles -
Of course the system as a whole will take a while to gel. We're talking about him improving on the basics like footwork, being willing/accurate enough to hit an NFL open guy 20 yards in the middle of the field. That new youtube breakdown posted the other day has plenty examples of both of those issues if anyone needs a refresher. As far as being a franchise guy, Teddy wasn't good enough so he's gotta get above those 2020-21 Teddy starting numbers, anything less and it's just Tepper being stubborn about his trade up

Why Corbett (and Brady Christensen) will make good Centers
Jackie Lee replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Here's what you get when you try to skimp at center. Cadence is a huge deal and you can't learn it mid game. That's why they clap in college ball -

Ouch that guys scorches him lol.

The Panthers led the league in Top 300 signings, having acquired Jalen Coker (243rd), Andrew Raym (255th), Willie Drew (266th), Demani Richardson (287th) and Jaden Shirden (300th).

Panthers Select Jonathan Brooks RB - 46th Pick, Round 2

Yeah people are not grasping this. Just because Canales is a younger coach it doesn't mean he's some super creative offensive mind. He wants to basically play Fox/Rivera style football. He alludes to it in pressers all the time. Although running zone instead of power which I'm personally not a fan of -

Panthers Select Ja'Tavion Sanders TE - Pick 101, Round 4
Jackie Lee replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Right, he shouldn't even look at Ian Thomas' reps lol. There is no vet to watch behind, I think he could be out there game 1 if he gets the playbook down. We finally have no ties to Ian Thomas on staff -

Imagine if Jordan Love started year one for some random team, he'd be out of the league already

Brooks doesn't hit the hole like Chuba, I'm taking Chuba when you need that 1 yard since we apparently don't want a true power back -
6 qb's was ridiculous and Rattler/Pratt could be better than 5 of them for all we know
