Just sayin' since it's a Josh Rosen "I can't believe the situation he's been put in" style thread, they coddled this dude so hard and he just isn't cutting it lol. I was just going through the Eisen Shows and the Cowherds talking that poo and I don't think anyone but Chase Daniel even watched this game film yet lol. -

I dunno if anyone posted the Youtube version of this breakdown yet, easier to pause and rewind etc vs twitter. It's ugly -
Poll: Has Bryce Played His Last Snap as a Panther?
Jackie Lee replied to Captroop's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah sink or swim time. It should be obvious pretty soon if he even cares. I've never really gotten the impression that he's even wanted to be here. Or if he did and that's how he displays his true excitement and desire to lead an NFL team it doesn't translate to the fans or the locker room. -
Panthers need to move on from Young ASAP

IR? lol -
I think Dalton can still get 4-5 wins but if it isn’t Bryce getting them it doesn’t really matter anymore right? Unless they really do a trade for a younger guy that actually puts some solid games together
-
It’s almost worse that they gave him that easy drive against Buffalo 3’s. They probably all thought they had it in the bag and took it easy the two weeks before the Saints game. And no Jets practice isn’t better than a preseason game because he’s obviously a different player when people can actually hit him irl. Works for vets but young guys need real reps with tackling

And they take on $6m a year for Bryce instead of $1m for Howell? Tough sell -

At this rate Ward looks great, but he won't really face any serious competition until the playoffs. I'm pretty sure they're basically a lock now that it's expanded to 12 teams. BR has him #1 in the rankings after last game -Stats: 65-of-89, 1,035 yards, 11 TD, 1 INT; 46 rush yards, 1 TD Cam Ward is now the Heisman Trophy favorite, according to the latest odds from DraftKings, after torching Ball State for 346 yards and five touchdown passes in a 62-0 blowout. The Washington State transfer went to the bench early in the second half, so those gaudy numbers came in an abbreviated effort, but he will still enter Week 4 tied for the FBS lead with 11 passing touchdowns. The Hurricanes have emerged as the early favorites in the ACC, but before they kick off conference play, they have a road game against South Florida on Saturday. -
Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?

If it's this scenario trade back and grab Cam Ward! Keep Dalton or whatever vet. Use the trade back capital to stock up on d-line -

Use this Kiper clip as trade bait! Try to get a fourth while he’s still getting the benefit of the doubt. If he sits a month and Dalton gets injured, comes back in and still stinks, no one will be willing to take on the $6m a year cap hits. -

People are saying the Dolphins and Giants should consider a trade. Dolphins blog I saw said a 4th/5th and a 7th I think. I'd take it. If someone did trade for him they have to dish out $6m a year for the next few years... It wouldn't totally shock me if he's not even at practice tmrw. I just feel like there's going to be too much tension between his dad and the staff or something, just making it really awkward. -

First 20 minutes of this is the Bryce segment -
There's that whole time of possession thing that keeps the ball away from the opposing offense. "they have converted two of 22 third-down opportunities"

I would say fear of throwing deep/arm strength, not stepping up into the pocket (which might be height related), and being finger tackled by guys are size/strength related. That being said we never really thought about PJ's size as what held him back from being starter level and he's just 5'11" and maybe 10 pounds more muscle than BY. I think patience was over when he came back to OTA's and pretty much hadn't worked on getting bigger/stronger/faster and was so laid back about it. Just no urgency or hunger in his demeanor, makes him hard to root for or take seriously
