Yeah I don't see anyone trading for 3 years of $6m guaranteed right now for him to sit on their bench. IR him so he can go home, grab freaking Trevor Siemian for vet min and let him and Dalton run whatever Canales wants to run and see if the play calling is even good. We seriously have no clue if Canales is up to snuff in a competitive game once he has to deal with challenges, time outs, clock management, etc. He seems like an ultimate boom or bust HC/play caller. He doesn't need a work in progress like Howell right now

And no Jets practice isn’t better than a preseason game because he’s obviously a different player when people can actually hit him irl. Works for vets but young guys need real reps with tackling
