  1. I know that there's been some water tossed on the fire, but I do hope that both teams are exploring the move still. On one hand, it would suck for Bryce to lose his most trusted WR and a super solid veteran for the young guys to learn better technique from. On the other, if Hunter Renfrow is good to go, he can take that slot spot over and read defenses with Bryce like AT does. Hunter was a high school QB iirc, so he'd be a reliable safety net in the slot. Getting compensation for a 35yr old WR on the last year of his deal and having minimal drop off in production (while also giving more reps to the two first round picks) during a year that seems to be universally understood as the "Is Bryce for real?" season seems like a great move imo, especially if it allows the team to keep everyone else.
  2. There are definitely people in the Panthers front office that play fantasy football and cannot wait for Lathan Ransom to de-cleat Kyle Pitts every play for his lack of production.
  3. Cannot wait to see what Princely does as a pass rush specialist this season.
  4. How in the world are folks not getting open because of Bryce when he was sacked for what was then the 2nd most times a rookie QB had been sacked (until Caleb Williams)? He got sacked 50+ times behind a 6th and 7th string guard duo. Dalton played one good game against the RAIDERS? The same Andy Dalton that people are ready to take out behind the barn and put down so that they can have a UDFA QB in the room that won't be on a roster next season? I get that Aidan O'Connell is some Huddlers' favorite QB, but Jesus... Again: What is the acceptable floor for a rookie QB with 6th & 7th string starting guards, a group of weapons where the only player getting open is 33yrs old, and the coaching staff switched the offense up three times in their first year? Why is it that I keep getting excuses instead of numbers in response to that?
  5. Frank Reich had 3 timeouts and got the ball back with just over 2min left and the game tied at 20. On 2nd and 7, he calls back-to-back passing plays instead of a screen or a run to wind down the clock. They punted to Hawai'i who was sitting on two timeouts. Reich sat on all 3 timeouts once Hawai'i got into field goal range which allowed them to kill clock and kick the game winning FG. This was the offensive guru that switched the offense on a rookie QB twice. I'm gonna need some of the "no excuses" crowd to keep that energy for themselves this season if Bryce keeps looking like he did post benching.

  8. Ball game. College football, I have missed you so.
  9. WR: Nico, Woods, Tank (R) TE: Schultz OL: Tunsil/Howard/Deiter/Mason/Fant vs. WR: Chark, Thielen, Mingo (R) TE: Hurst OL: Icky/Zavala (R)/Bozeman/Jensen (R)/Moton Panthers' had the better OL before losing BC week 1 and AC week 4 which is kind of ironic considering how in the following year DB went down in W1 and Shaq in W4 resulting in the defense going all to Hell. CJ has done amazing in Houston, but he also wasn't asked to carry Zavala, Jensen, Mingo, Hurst, and Chark as a rookie. Him and Bryce both got their vets (Woods/Thielen), but their WR1s (Nico vs. Chark) and rookie WRs (Tank vs. Mingo) couldn't have been further apart.
  10. Holy poo Is it raining grease? Neither team can hold on to the ball.
  11. 2022 HOU WRs: Nico Collins, Brandin Cooks, Phillip Dorsett, Chris Conley, Johnny Johnson, Tyron Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Chris Moore, Amari Rodgers, Jalen Camp 2023 HOU WRs: Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Xavier Hutchinson, Robert Woods, Johnny Johnson, John Metchie, Steven Sims Drafting Stroud was huge but rebooting their WR room and solidifying the OL also made Stroud's life better for the Texans as well.
  12. Avery Johnson is a lot of fun to watch. Ball security does not exist in this game tho

  16. If AT goes to MIN, we're going TMac/XL/Coker/Renfrow/Tremayne/JHJ/Moore Sounds like it's happening but nothing official announced yet.
  17. Do you know how to find the currently available list of free agents? Not fuging with you btw, genuinely asking. Didn't want to provide you with resources and how to if you were already aware. Mind you, this isn't to say that we should sign somebody and that they will be an impact player, but just looking at the dollar amount. $30M means you can shoulder two $10M+ deals. idk enough about Tillis yet to speak to his tendencies, but from what Dan spoke on last year it sounds like the team likes to keep $12M - $15M going into the season. That's a healthy number that allows the team to sign a guy (or a few) and still roll over a couple of bones.
  18. If the team is confident with the medicals, it makes a lot of sense. Lock down the most consistent member of the strongest unit for another two years, reduce the overall cap number which opens up to signing two impact players or rolling it over to next season, and get more flexibility in the upcoming drafts. Another two to three years of Hunt/TMo paving the way on the right side is gonna be lit if TMo's got the knee figured out.
  19. This is my hesitation as well because there was a loooooot of smoke about that knee at the end of last season. My hope is that they've got enough data on it to be comfortable enough to keep the good times rolling while having the flexibility in the draft to grab a replacement to develop at any point next offseason or the one after. Fingers crossed that they're being smart with his strength & conditioning to get the most mileage out of it while still keeping him in top playing shape.
  20. Solid cap move as it frees up cap space and locks down the most consistent Panther on the roster. Even better culture move for taking care of guys that took care of the team. This also gives the team the luxury of not having to spend a day one pick on an RT. Can still take a swing tackle on day two or three to replace BC while developing him to take over for TMo.
  21. New deal brings this year's cap hit down from $31.3M to $23.7M which gets us close to $30M in cap space... WHO ARE WE ABOUT TO SIGN!?!?
