Very fair point re: when all 3 were playing at the same time. Quick count of weeks 1, 2, 12 - 15, 17, and 18 (AT out 4 - 10, XL out 14, Bryce out three as well (3, 4, 6), week 11 was a bye) actually came out to AT 51, XL 46 over that period. AT was definitely Bryce's most reliable WR, but it wasn't like the ball was being forced to Thielen at the expense of XL's development. EDIT: Got curious about Coker and the only game that AT + XL + Coker were on the field together were vs. DAL, @TB, and @ATL. Targets for those three games totaled out to for 19 for AT, 17 for XL, 15 for Coker. Those AT numbers are going to likely go predominantly to TMac

XL led the team in targets by 20+ last season. While AT was the more reliable (and productive) WR last season, he really wasn't force fed like some of the Bryce haters want to believe.

Former RB Mike Davis on Rhule and CMC
Icege replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've got him on ignore, but if I happen to see his histrionics being quoted and see the usual personal attacks I go and give it the poo it deserves. If it bothers him that much he could try being less unpleasant, or put me on ignore as a mod requested. At the very least, he could stop insulting others just because he's not capable of understanding and accepting any scenario other than the one he feels validates him. Rhule-wise... Teddy tried to warn us. People wanted to hate him because he wasn't Cam though. Mike Davis, in the same episode, was highly complimentary of how former players are treated by the team. That was cool to hear. -
We've seen him three times and is one of our favorites. Would've been a fourth but the drive up I95 to visit my in-laws whooped our ass.

Yikes... I hope he's okay and it didn't rupture on him. Glad that he's on the mend. Get well soon Icky!!

Hell yea Krys Barnes and Sam Roberts made it. Oh nice, Boogie too! -
There was an article previously posted that highlighted how Canales morphed his offense over the course of the season to better fit Bryce.

I hadn't heard about him until now. Apparently has familiarity with Canales/Idzik as a 2020 fourth-round pick for Seattle. -

Hype for that signing tbh. Campbell said he might benefit from a change of scenery. Would be fun if Canales can coach him up and provide a QB2 for after Dalton. -

Mike Kaye has now successfully called a Panthers' waiver claim three years in a row. Impressive! -
Woa there now Pointing out reasonable challenges that players face is regarded as "making excuses" and "carrying the water" around these parts.

Official Panthers Roster Cuts (Updated)
Icege replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pats current EDGEs are Keion White, Harold Landry III, Anfernee Jennings, and K'Lavon Chaisson. I'm surprised they didn't keep Swinson as a 5th pass rusher tbh. -
Flipped the upcoming 7th to a 5th and the following draft's 5th to a 4th at the expense of a 35yr old veteran on the last year of his deal. Win-win for all parties. Hoping they bring Renfrow back now that there's room!

1. Click on the menu in the top-right of the screen that looks like three lines 2. Click on "Your Account" 3. Click on "Ignored Users" at the bottom 4. Type in the user's screen name that you want to ignore and select the one that matches 5. Check all three boxes to ignore posts, messages, and reactions 6. Click "Add User" I've only got four users on my ignore list but maaaaan does it make the experience better. Quick note: You will still be able to see ignored users' posts if somebody quotes them.

From everything I've heard and seen, it sounds like what ultimately did Renfrow in was special teams. David Moore, Brycen Tremayne, Jimmy Horn Jr, and Jalen Coker are all able to contribute on special teams. Can't help but think if they could've worked out a deal for Thielen that he'd still be here, but it's also reasonable to question whether he could handle a full NFL season while successfully managing UC.
