  1. I agree to not overreact but we absolutely need to target better depth and a potential upgrade at C and LT. Bozeman is a huge question mark. He was average for BAL. Good then great down the stretch for Wilks and then awful last year. And it’s not all scheming or the players next to him injured or underperforming..he straight up got bullied at times last year. Icky regressed enough that I’d like to see some considerations had with him ant G… and if we have the talent and depth at both G spots, then LT becomes a need again.
  2. Yep. Due to trades giving up more capital. Most GM's practice keeping an even balance of capital, even in the event of trade ups. For example, many big trades, you'll see the team giving away a top pick dish out a 6th or 7th (or two) to the one moving up. We just had this myopic mindset and didn't bother trying to truly gain capital, only recoup at like two points with CMC and Robbie -- and didn't even play that hard of ball it seems. Fitt is gone, hope Morgan is better with this and learned something from Schneider and Beane.
  3. Purdy and CMC have their moment to become immortal.
  4. Mentioned this in a trade recap/analysis thread some time back: Including trades, we used a grand total of 17 picks in 2 seasons/since the CMC & Anderson trades on 4 'maybes' and the rest are busts or off the team. And that's also 17 picks turned into 9 players, results regardless, so we've just been bleeding capital without accruing anything to gamble on. Just terrible.
  5. He'll occasionally have a clunker (so he's not Tucker-level) but he's really one of the best kickers you can have. Not the most compelling game (and didn't watch halftime) but could produce a good finish
  6. He’s one of two guys we all know elevated their play on defense this year and would be worth a payday. I won’t blame him if he ends up elsewhere but would love for him to come back.
  7. MrTouchdown/4C: Stop cluttering our flagged post inboxes And for others: Stop with the pile on about posters. Aren't we all a bit weird at the end of the day posting here ad nausem? lol Anyhoo...onto the SB!
  8. Also not to be too lock sensitive but I don’t see this going places and it’s already derailed.
  9. There’s no need with some of that, seems some just want multiple accounts even if they don’t anything ban worthy. I mean a fun alt, whatevs. But recently, that Breeg guy and Reccecei are two examples of multi-account types that get into heated pissing matches that just muddy up the joint. And then resurface again. And again. And again. Just like Chuck although I’ll say, the Chuck iterations seem to have finally ended this last year
  10. He was called “political” and/or “single issue” poster but the better way to put it is the gimmick accounts.
  11. He got banned bc he made us suspicious (and it was obvious what he was doing) and yep, he had 4 known alt accounts all posting. We banned all of them. This one won’t be long either. It’s pretty easy to figure out the ones who have the multiple accounts on our end. The weirdest ones are the longer time posters who have multiple accounts they swing between.
  12. I'm saying how does that even happen. You have to try to draft as poorly as we have.
  13. They are arguably the worst combination league-wide in the 21st century. Only a handful I see comparable. Doesn’t just have to do with records, we netted some of the least value possible draft classes (3 in a row) and wasted so much capital on senseless trades and excessive neediness. Like how do you basically miss on every choice from a draft where you had 11 picks?
  14. Fitterer really screwed up with this Burns situation. It’s looking like a colossal mistake not to have him be the player chip in the Bears trade (that we shouldn’t of even made in the first place)
  15. Yep. The average consumer is all streaming these days, and the avg person carries 2.9 subscriptions/month. And you cancel and resubscribe dependent on who's carrying the shows you want to watch. It's all just a dance right now with these companies (all owned by 5ish main conglomerates at the end of the day-Paramount, Disney, Comcast, Amazon, & Apple) to see what works the best for them. Those peak years of cable were a stabilizing force for them to become the giants they are. They don't have that type of binding infrastructure-based luxury anymore and are trying to create it through acquisitions & partnerships. Just like rock music, what you knew of media and TV is long dead. Has been dead. We're in this weird period where the mega moguls are positioning and buying the moguls to create the best umbrella corp in the age of streaming. Disney went for a huge grab when they purchased purchase 20th Century Fox and then the majority stakes in Hulu. The new sports-service is definitely stemming from those moves and more positioning taking place. I can definitely see Fox Corp & Warner going capoot within a few years with more and more moves. It's all just such a dance.
  16. We need someone to pretend to work BOFA to just carry around some measuring tape, happen to pass Bryce, ask for an autograph for their kid, and do a quick take-off and bolt. I kid, I kid. It's always been my guess he's right around 5'9. his eye level (the important thing) is about an inch below Kyler's). Less stocky but more length. Okay, that's enough of me investigating photos of NFL players for today lol. Saban is 5'6, they're likely in similar dress shoes with modest heels here:
  17. Finally starting to dig into prospects this year. Had my favorites during the season (Odunze, Franklin, McMillan), now diving into the guys on teams I wasn't watching as much. One standout at WR (who happens to be close buds with my favorite RB in CFB, 2022): Jha'Quan Jackson https://www.thedraftnetwork.com/2024/02/02/jhaquan-jackson-nfl-draft-stock-senior-bowl Sign me up for R3-4
