He's been fine. His last game was on him, but he shouldn't have been out there to begin with. He should've been rested. That decision looks to have hurt the whole team tonight. You guys are expecting elite goaltending when he is a backup who has been performing above average with many flashes of great saves. We would not be where we are without him. If you want to blame anyone, it should be the skaters and coaching for why we look complete ass on the road and why we are always undisciplined and not opportunistic on the powerplay.

Instead of blaming every goal on Raanta, you should ask why do we keep letting guys get so close to him that he gets screened or someone else gets a free skate in there for a deflection. The Rangers are doing what we should be doing. Making a crowd in front of the net. I just saw Vinny actually get out of the way of a shot when he was already in the way of Igor's sight. It's like we are missing a lot of details out there.
