  1. Steve Wilks was able to do, in a short period of time, what Matt Rhule couldn't in 2 full seasons. Yet it was clear Wilks was never gonna be considered for HC officially. A good owner rewards success.
  2. Good for CJ, man. He's DEFINITELY in the right place. I think even he would suck in this offense right now. I was Stroud all the way, but I actually think AR would be ideal for this offense, because of his running ability. I can't believe I'm saying that. No doubt Bryce is a smarter, more skilled QB, but this just ain't his offense.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if Burns didn't WANT to go somewhere else right now. OTOH, YGM looks pretty good in the 3-4 defense.
  4. With all their injuries to the o-line, Stroud wasn't sacked today? Houston has made some sort of adjustment. Why can't we?
  5. Not gonna lie. Feels pretty hopeless for this season. I had WAY more hope for the future when Wilks turned things around last year.
  6. I mean, his receivers look like Ohio State receivers. Imagine that.
  7. I tell you what. Richardson went to the right team. Maybe the best o-line in the NFL. Doesn't matter who their RB is, they will get yards. And to his credit, he's making the big throws.
  8. Ah. Okay thanks. Good to know. Meanwhile in this Colts game, Richardson seems like a running back who occasionally makes a nice throw.
  9. How does the o-line look in this game? Can anyone tell me? I can't see the game.
  10. Kinda sounds like if Dalton were out there and as effective as last week, we'd be up fairly big.
  11. I can't see the game. Is the pocket still collapsing? Are they doing okay against the pass rush?
  12. Not having his best FG%, but he does throw downfield quite a bit.
  13. I'm forced to watch the Rams/Colts game. Richardson is...limited.
  14. Don't be surprised if CJ struggles in this Pittsburgh game. Word is they have more injuries to the o-line (if you can believe it) and they gotta face TJ Watt!!!
  15. Wow. Makes Zavala's performance even worse than I thought.
  16. Either way, somethings wrong with him now. He needs to re-focus or something.
  17. Ihttps://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/positions/OT/1/2022 https://www.pff.com/news/draft-top-2022-nfl-draft-rankings-offensive-tackles-evan-neal-ikem-ekwonu-charles-cross-trevor-penning My question to you is which of the three were considered the best pass protector?
  18. Well that's clearly not true. Icky was usually ranked 2nd or 3rd. Pretty much always behind Cross. Granted, Cross isn't the run-blocker Icky is. And...c'mon Sertain is already All Pro and stays relatively healthy.
  19. I haven't given up on Icky or Horn, but I think it's interesting... ...both drafts we had the opportunity to pick the absolute best CB and LT. We could have picked Patrick Sertain but we chose Horn. He's great when he's available, but we can't rely on his health. Then we could have picked Cross, the clear top pass protector, but we chose Icky because he has pancaked some dudes. And he's been weird so far this season. Hey, sometimes the scouts are wrong, but it's almost like we deliberately went against the grain.
  20. Those of us who argued for CJ should root for his success in Houston. But we should support our new QB also. If Bryce doesn't end up panning out, there's probably some great young QB available a couple of years from now. I don't want to wait that long either...but, for now, what's done is done.
  21. Hey some good news. Throckmorton played pretty well. Any chance we'll see he and Mays (or someone not named Zavala) at guard next week?
  22. 27 hurries total. Is that a lot for a game? Sounds like a lot.
