  1. Indubitably. With the hundreds off PFF mocks I have done I played this scenario out and never felt the results weren't worth the trade.
  2. Star was a space eater I didn't hate him but felt he underwhelmed in his career here overall, thus explaining his drop out of the perceived top 10 expected. Since DJ isn't here anymore and never got to play in the playoffs I didnt include him.
  3. Rippadon had a lot of time on his hands today, ijs.....
  4. Rivera wasn't the worst coach but he sure was the most stubborn. If he would've learned from his mistakes in 2013 and capitalized on them in the coming years maybe we would've won a SB. I wanted Joel Bitonio or Davante Adams os badly I was screaming out my lungs at the TV when we draft Benjamin in 2014. I knew we needed a better OL and at least one good WR and instead we made one of many infuriating picks while being coached by RR. His drafts left a lot to be desired, yes there were a few solid first round picks sprinkled in there but outside of Luke Cam BB and CMC, I feel the rest have been underwhelming to down right bad.
  5. The cost vs value is terrible. Whats wrong with a fresh set of legs in the later rounds? I feel we may trade down and get a 6th and that would be perfect to use on one.
  6. If we pick anyone other than Young at #1 we will get graded terribly and become a laughing stock by the media pundits. None of the other QB's are close. At #9 I would've been fine with any, hell I would've been ok with getting Van Ness at #9 and then Hooker or McKee at #39 or the other 2nd that was traded.
  7. If the pick isn't Bryce then trading down should be on the table. None of the other QBs deserve #1 overall.
  8. BYOB! BRYCE YOUNG OR BUST! TIME TO WIN US A SUPERB OWL!!!
  9. Honestly this is pretty annoying. This draft must be too boring for the media, the first pick has been known since the CFB season ended. This year is akin to the Burrow and Lawrence draft. The manufactured drama is a desperate move by the NFL and is kind of disgusting. We got caught up into it because of the trade but honestly anyone with a brain and understanding of football can see Bryce Young is a generational talent and his skewed physical traits are the only thing to hinder everyone from unanimously calling him the #1 overall QB/player. Thursday will be fun until roughly 8:08pm or then reality will hit and the people that chose to chastise their future starting QB will either have to stfu accept it and appreciate him or choose to move along.
  10. Hunter Luepke would be great if we had a 6th but if he doesn't get drafted i'd love to get him as a UDFA.
  11. Sean Tucker or Kendre Miller are my preferences after the 4th. If we look earlier Roschon Johnson would be solid or Zach Charbonnet if we go really sexy in the 2nd or 3rd.
  12. This man said Brycers. So many undertones within this "stereotype" lol. Gotta love the irrationally inclined posters.
  13. Shorting up the box with Skinner allows Chinn to roam and blitz more. Diaby is so intriguing physically Mauch is a nasty sumbitch and having him shore up the line would be great. Trice is a monster in the outside to pair with Horn. Tucker is a pure running back no frills just runs you down like a bowling ball. Jones is this drafts Cupp lite and we should not pass him up. Byrce is why my SN is BYOB because Bryce Young or Bust!
  14. Really hoping the likes of Mays, Smith, Barno and Tremble step up this year. TMJ did well in his limited chances last year and I feel this year will be a breakout for him, nothing groundbreaking but upwards of 50 rec 500yds and 5tds would be more than great. Judging by Reich offenses of past the ball will be spread out and lean more towards the TE/RBs, so I’m hoping TMJ is out #2 behind Chark. Even though it’s a 1 year deal a Chark looking good means the new offense is working and either resigning him or replacing should equate to similar success.
  15. Ojulari doesn't do it for me or FAU at #39 with other needs. I dont even expect Will McDonald or Nolan Smith to be there. I really hope we go OL. There is a lot of talent later that can rush the QB. Judging by the talent Evero had in Denver I feel he may prefer OLB, which Sanders may be a solid choice but #39 range doesn't have any prospects that blow you away imo. I prefer the likes of Herbig if we go OLB later. I know Burns injury seems like Edge/OLB instantly becomes a need but still is a luxury imo. Barno, Smith, Luvu, and Haynes will be much better in a 3-4, we just have to be patient.
  16. I would love Nick Hampton late or Jose Ramirez, they have intangibles you take a flier on late. Outside of Drew Sanders or maybe Nick Herbig I don't feel at #39 EDGE/OLB is the best value unless some how Nolan Smith is there. I prefer a top tier OL or WR/TE/RB.
  17. They probably dont need to Hooker will be there for them or if they want to run the same playbook get McKee early second.
  18. Jets will be a contender and possibly reach AFC.
  19. What does it gain you to talk down on someone who may become associated to something you like?
  20. "genius football midget" I hope if he ever wins us a SB you find it in your heart to say you were wrong and a dipshit for saying this. Or maybe you will take the high road and not even claim it because you're not a true fan.
  21. Young is able to compensate mentally for what he can't physically. Not many of the "prototypically sized" alternatives have been deemed as very intelligent or capable of processing to his extent. I feel if Stroud did what Young did with the talent and vice versa maybe things would be different, but it is hard to overlook the offense run at OSU and talent at WR.
