I’ve been more supportive of Bryce week after week but honestly we should probably stop blaming everybody but Bryce. He deserves his fair share of the blame at this point in the season. We switched playcaller and the offense is somehow worse now than it was before. Our best offensive game was with Andy Dalton at QB. Bryce had contributed turnovers that were scoring plays for the other team 3 or 4 times now. He’s TD to INT ratio is putrid and he spends most of the game playing it super safe. We can’t ignore that most of our offensive players around Bryce are having career worst years. From a WR standpoint and TE standpoint is that because they suck or is Bryce contributing to that? Richardson flashed more in his like 100 pass attempts than Bryce has all season. Levis flashed more in two games than Bryce has all season. I won’t even compare to Stroud. Hell, Tyson Bagent had flashed more in the NFL than Bryce Young. I’m sure Bryce will be better next season but we need to stop making excuse after excuse for him. Especially when yall were beating your chest last week over 15 points.

The Texans OC drew up the game winning play today on the sideline. The Texans hadn’t practiced it since training camp. A lot of times it’s just about executing at a higher level than the other guys. And our guys haven’t been doing it on offense.

I watched him throw it away a few times today so he does do it. He does throw aways to the sidelines every week. But he can’t do that every play.

Other teams whiff on QBs too. You just have to draft better and sign better complimentary players going forward. Can’t change what we’ve already done.

Alabama QBs amirite? Tua had a bad day today too. But hes tons of help to give him a chance to succeed. We don't have tons here and Mac for sure doesn't have that in NE. Teams shouldn't draft QBs unless they are going to immediately surround them with weapons and give them a chance to develop.

He did just throw a terrible pick, too. But its just year one of Bryce. We are going to have to invest in tools to help him succeed this season. Its the most unforgivable thing for me that Fitterer did in trading DJ Moore away to get a Qb when thats the perfect player to help your QB develop. I wouldn't care if we were 0-17 if the offense looked better.

I love when I post something that shouldn't be remotely controversial and this is the type of reply you get back from somebody here. How can I be accused of not watching the games when I am live posting comments here during the games every single week? Why, when I am posting factual information and stats is your reply back to me littered with exaggerations?

I mean the same could be said about Ryans for Houston ... they did nothing to stop Baker most of the game. But somebody has to win and CJ was him today.

I would love to see who those top 25 teams were that he played. But when it comes to the draft it won't really matter too much. He was always going to be under a crazy microscope because he balled out for two years. But by hitching your wagon to go with Lincoln Riley you are forced to play in shootouts every single week because he simply does not give a hoot about defense. And this is probably the least talented team he has been on. Stroud couldn't beat Michigan. Manning couldn't beat Florida. Josh Allen couldn't hit a movie target in stride his whole college career. Mahomes had some 5 interception games in college. Regardless of what the final stat line reads for Williams, hes the closest thing we have to Mahomes in college but hes significantly further ahead in terms of accuracy and playmaking ability compared to Mahomes in college. So he is going to get drafted high by a team that thinks they can develop him into something similar.. I know it sounds stupid but if you are Chicago and you can pair Williams with DJ Moore and Marvin Harrison Jr, Darnell Mooney and Cole Kmet that *looks* like a pretty sick offense for a rookie top end QB to jump into.
