  1. each of the past 3 yeara byoungs y/g passer rating and qbr all have been between 30th and 24th. up and down he hasnt improved he had the atlanta game thus year and a few ok games but didnt even eclipse 300 yards but 2 games and one of those 2 againdt arizona he got 300 bc he was trying to come back from a blowout he caused by playinf horrific. i just dont see what everyome else sees maybe i am the one with the issue bc i cant see his greatness. i woild rather an udfa rookie next year at qb
  2. That rams td was an amazing highlight catch and throw.
  3. for the last 3 years byoungs qbr and passer rating at the end of each season has him somewhere between 30th and 22nd for qualified passers he hasnt really improved much over the 3 seasons from an average qbr and passer rating bottom of the league for nfl starters
  4. interesting enough his qbr was basically the same the first 8 games he played and the last 8 games. i believe like 22nd in the total nfl.
  5. so what i am seeing is he played alot better than stafford.....hmmmm...my eyes lied to me glad this fixed it and he actually was the third best playoff qb this weekend just sad everyone else on the team sucks and holds back his greatness ahahahahha
  6. it kills me when people say byoung is improving his qbr by year rankwd compared to all nfl qbs 29th 20th 27th this year. every single stat category outside of short td passes and rushing has been almost identical or a small drop this year. he had 2 games all year over 300yds and one of those was a game he played horrible in and the cards went full prevent for almost the entire remainder of the game. it would be diff if u saw 29th 25th 15th but no he is who he is a botttom 10% of the nfl startinf qbs
  7. His QBR for the first 8 games of the season 45.8, his qbr for the last 8 games 50.1....byoung is byoung beginning or end of the year he is who he is.
  8. Did he really play that much better or worse throughout the season looks like a normal byoung all season long except for the 2nd atlanta game . The arizona game his stats show good but his play straight sucked until they went total prevent.
  9. Looking back at the prior years just looking at y/g QBR and qb rating, Byoung really hasnt progressed very much. I dont understand how people especially media can say he is an above average or even average nfl qb he has yet to show from a stats perspective for a season that he is even higher than 27th ranked. Oh well panthers being panthers I expect a long term contract for him soon paying him around the 10th highest qb in the league.
  10. I understand the panthers picking it up, but Byoung was the 27th ranked starting qb this year based on QBR 30th looking at regular qb rating, 28th in yards per game, thats in his third year so basically they picked up the fifth year option for a well below average nfl starter. Hopefully they are not going to just sit on the qb room for next year need to bring in a vet and a draft a qb best player wins
  11. so i went back and looked at yards per game qbr and regular qb rating all had young at 24th which is probably still a little high bc alot of backups or players only playing a few games didnt qualify but would probably be higher than he is so i revise and say byoung is somewhere between 22 to 28th best qb in the nfl
  12. yeah i thought about that and wanted to look at the list figure it would make him look worse to actially look at thr list
  13. To end 2025 Byoung was ranked 22nd in total QBR by qualifying QBs in the nfl. Depending how much faith you put into stats year 3 byoung is a below average nfl starting qb but not the worse in the league. This was a wierd in general I felt like most passing offenses were down. But I do feel his QBR has him rated at pretty much the correct spot I feel he is somewhere between the 20th to 25th best QB in the nfl going into year 4. HIs QBR through the years 34.1, 50.7, 48.8 so his QBR fell this year compared to last. His yards per game went up from 171.6 last year to 188.2 this year..all the stats kinda showing he is who he is a 20th to 25th best qb in the nfl below average nfl starter
  14. 49ers entire starting team pretty much out and they just keep being tough
  15. exactly also wonder how game would have been if the rams didnt have so many penalty yards also
  16. defense i feel actually played well after they settled in. offense put them in alot of very tough spots. int , fumbl, 3 fourth down failures all very short fields at least a 14 point swing.
  17. yes thats it exactly last night was byoungs best A game. which was still 70 something qb rating and less than 300 yards on 40 something attempts. as an above poster put it byoung showed enoigh this year to keep panther managment holding on but he jist isnt that good and will keep us in qb purgatory for years not terribke enough for panthers to move on and not good enough to win anything worthwhile
  18. post game takes: defense played very well considering it was the rams and the offense gave them tons of short fields. the last td not even mad about that that was just an impressive catch wr is looking really good not a huge need qb byoung played really good and really bad this game still not sold on him the last series pretty much to me felt like the real byoung returninf...3 terrible decision passes and one drop by a wr. panthers really need some real competition and best one win overall team is looking up need a pass rush or more aggressive dcoord oline depth 1 journeyman upsixe qb and one draft pic qb and depending on how much shough progresses panthers have a shot at playpffs next year stafford is good but to me looked like father time is catching up to him
  19. Wish I knew if that was a Byoung thing just only confident throwing short or if it is a DC thing calling those plays they work suprisingly well I figured teams would tee off on the short passes by now but sick of them also. I feel its more of a Byoung only comfortable short throws but may be wrong.
  20. only path the winning is huge day by the defense and by Rico. If Byoung has to throw panthers get dominated.
  21. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/cardinals-request-to-interview-patriots-passing-game-coordinator-thomas-brown living life post panthers and byoung
  22. yep they about to find out harbough made jackson not the other way around
  23. i think byoung has decent arm strenght average to just below when he has perfect pocket and can set perfectly. i think when he has to throw off balance his arm strength is by far worse in the league this last few weeks i have wondered if he is injured bc even his short checkdowns have lacked any velocity floating like ducks. been lucky not to have had tons of ints defenses just play so hard to stop the run they leaving pretty wide open passing windows
  24. i stand corrected give fasani 10 more tries and he would have passed youngs seattle total though lol and he was still better watching than clausen i am not even sure how the coach could march clausen out there to even play a game he must have been a practice look good type guy
  25. the team had 104 passing yards that game randy had less but i believe he was benched i for some reason actually thought fasani would be good one day lol
