a 200 y/g average would be a nice improvement for him. 180 career y/g average over the years 180 171 and 188 but in my mind to extend him would need a top 10 season at qb in pretty much every stat

my predication is 3-5 wins but on the flipside if the panthers had a qb who was anywhere from 16th best qb and up in the nfl they would be serious contenders the team is good the qb is not.

I really only see byoung maybe being better than the browns qb situation and the vikings qb situation but those are both maybes

egh I feel rico did really well for the panthers he got injured and teams realized all the panthers had was the run game so they stacked the box and dared the panthers to throw which byoung did for a couple of games .

i have not watched many gt games. is it his accuracy that hurt his draft stock his armstrength or all of the above?

It makes no sense I see all these articles saying if byoung keeps improving and I am wondering what improvement. His total tds were up for this past year, but his y/g 179.9 171.6 188.2 basically a flat line especailly if you remove his outlier games. His QBR 34.1 50.7 47.6 actually went down ; his y/a 5.5 6.3 6.3 no improvement . Basically every single stat shows he is exactly who he has been since entering the nfl a bottom of the league qb.

100% the panthers have the best chance to win whenever they can limit having to use byoung. Young not throwing the ball is a win for the panthers lol

i dont think people realize without dowdle panthers would have been picking top ten this years draft. byoung still rarely eclipses the 200 yard mark top 10 draft spot really seems like where the panthers will be this year replacing the qb

i think team wise the panthers are alot better, but believe most people have realized byoung limits the entire team. I see them with a top 10 pick if he plays like he has the last 3 seasons. I dont expect the running game to be as good which without that this would have been a top 10 pick year

i would have loved for them to have gotten a qb especially with lsu qb lasting till the 7th but seems they are happy to let young drive the ship into the iceberg

I like this take, I can see the coaches now reviewing film sayin to each other you see how his deep ball just kinda looks like a wounded duck and he has to throw it high b/c his arm strength is below average...reminds me of bryce lets sign him lol.

to get the most from bryce just need a great run blocking oline amazing runnnung backs and an amazing defense sometimes the best pass is the one byoung isnt allowed to throw ahahahahha

i think its kinda funny everyone was talking on here about purdy sucks and he has the best wrs and fast forward turns out all his wrs were pretty much trash. still has an amazing te rb duo but purdy has proven to be a top ten qb in the nfl could be a top 5. he pretty much had no one this year was injured alot and still 2nd best qbr in the nfl.
