  1. The Rams are going all in for a Super Bowl. I wouldn’t call it idiotic. Risky is the better word. If it works, I bet you won’t find a single Rams fan upset about losing those draft picks. They have been on the doorstep for the last three years and in McVays mind, the qb position was holding them back. He won’t have that excuse anymore and I’d be shocked if the Rams aren’t in the divisional round in 2022
  2. If I’m the lions, I send my two first rounders this year, my two first rounders next year, and Goff to the Texans for Watson now.
  3. Man. Seeing Rhule coach like that gives me so much hope that we are going to be a better drafting team moving forward. It’s pretty clear he knows who has it, who has something that could become it, and who to stay away from.
  4. Yep. If we make this move, we are definitely trading back and picking that second back up. We’d probably move into the teens and go into next year with two twos. Ideally, we’d be picking late teens to early twenties next year and we already know, by looking at Seattle’s history of trading back in that position, how our GM feels about picks in that range.
  5. I mean, I can’t stand them, but that one was blatant. It’s probably a td if he is allowed to go get it. King cost them big time twice.
  6. Stafford running Brady’s offense would be insane especially with a healthy CMC. Draft best defender available at 8. We sign Stafford, draft offensive linemen in rounds two and three Instantly a playoff team in the NFC.
  7. I’ll be a ten if we have our future grooming behind him, a freshly signed Moton, a healthy CMC and a tweaked and rebuilt oline. I’ll be a four if we have Teddy and no plan behind him.
  8. Well, we’re likely giving up a first next year anyway to go get a college qb that May or may not work out. So if you’re asking me would I be in favor of throwing in an extra first to get a proven commodity, then that answer is a resounding yes. seems like common sense to me. Unfortunately, those three picks wouldn’t be enough.
  9. This article assumes the Texans would trade their franchise qb within their conference for their own pick back. The optics of that alone makes me think they’d be hesitant to trade him in conference.
  10. That group of corners is worrisome we better have a damned good pass rush.
  11. Ricky Proehl has done some great work with our wideouts and the above photos illustrate their progression. I remember looking at photos in training camp of Philly and Funchess and neither of them were looking the ball in. The two photos above show great technique and focus and I'm sure that is something Ricky had helped them develop.
  12. My wife's birthday is this Sunday. I'm in a pretty serious situation on one hand, I can go to the tailgate and ignore her birthday. This will result in the following for me: -I will have to make my own sandwiches for the rest of my life -I will no longer be immune from changing dirty diapers -my favorite chair will likely be deconstructed and the fabric sold to some craft store On the other hand, I can watch the game at home with her, and answer all kind of questions about Luke Keuchly and the demiGod he is. if I receive the tickets, I get to avoid all of these (sans the Luke Keuchly stuff, which will probably be infinitely worse if we are on field) and take my lovely wife to the game
  13. All these injuries to the corners means the defensive line and backers are going to have to get quick pressure. This team has the pass rush to get by with a secondary full of no-names, but a lack of pass rush will be detrimental. I would also have to think we will be in a base 4-3 defense much more, with shaq in coverage more than he has been all season long. I am excited and scared at this thought.
  14. 100% Agree. The next "trap" game on our schedule is against the Titans in a couple weeks. A revenge game against Philly to avenge a beat down from last year A game against the colts and the Andrew Luck hype wagon A game against the best QB in the league and arguably the best team. If the panthers lose to any of those teams, it won't be because of a let down. It will be because the panthers got beat.
  15. Falcons stunting up front but it is exposing their weakness on the edge and pursuit from their linebackers
  16. Jeremy: has wegher seen any reps returning kick offs in camp? it seems like he has great vision and speed.
  17. seripus question here: could shaq drop into roman harpers safety spot on passing downs. I don't know enough about safety play or transitions but I think we've got to find a way for him to be on the field on all three downs.
  18. Our oline looks legit. Very pleased with what I see from them.
  19. Get well KB im going to take the positive approach to this. We still have a healthy cam newton, a healthy Stewart, a line that doesn't have chandler or bell starting and Greg Olsen. When we started the season last year we had a banged up Cam, a horrible oline, deangello as our primary back and our whole passing game hinged on a "raw" rookie we still won the division and a playoff game. We are in the same boat as last year in needing a receiver to step up. Hopefully funchess can learn on the job quick.
  20. nortman has looked bad tonight. Hopefully just rust
  21. and the bills ran read option against Carolina's 2nd team linebackers with a mobile QB to move into position for their score. Don't try and downplay a good drive against most of your teams ones on a Carolina forum
  22. Nice. They have clearly been putting work in on that.
