  1. Man I don't even know what to say about this mess. The points are pretty fair, though well used, but there no focus on what Young is actually doing and not doing. Not addressing that at all. Sigh....
  2. Every savvy coach does this. Only the unaware types step in it by discussing that stuff right after the game.
  3. One thing I know is that in 2023 everyone was waiting to see what the offense would look like. I never saw anything that looked like a plan. It was all shelled up out of the gate to protect the little over/underachiever. So here comes 2024 and anticipation and it still looks like Reich was in charge again. In the sense of being in a shell. You don’t get to see what the plan is. He has shown nothing. Couple of decently placed (finally) thrown into a little traffic and a couple of downfield throws that made it close enough to the target to be caught. A scurry for a 1st here and there. And all kinds of fail in between. If anyone watches his film and sees a player, I want two of what they had.
  4. I mean, instead of Bryce Young think about a good QB with the offensive guys. AT Diontae XL Mingo Sanders Chuba the OL… the only reason it would really suck is bad scheming and so far it looks like they aren’t horrible at that. The play designs were looking pretty good. I really liked a couple things I saw with how they are using misdirection almost setting a pick but not so it is legal. It is gonna be fun seeing what they can do.
  5. It is actually giving me a little hope that Tepper may be finally be house broken.
  6. Wait what was I thinking? Simplest answer, ratings over reality. Going for ratings. Like he needs more spotlight.
  7. You are right in a way. And many people have just shifted their complaining to a different focus. There is a really good list of things pushed Panther fans to this state of mind. Watch though, if the players on the field do well, like even simulate good football, there will be a lot of positive hype going around.
  8. Interesting that ESPN seems in lockstep, across their empire. Parrots. Don't know why they would care that much to drum up controversy of the he said she said variety, but they might be doing it.
  9. I hate be this disagreeable but I don't see any sense in it, I see some kind of agenda. They need a new Daniel Snyder to periodically kick around. (Tepper qualifies in his special way irrespective of what 'ruined' Young) I'll be nice and say the only (another, rather) motive they have for gaslighting is that they are defending their very loud and long take on Bryce, which is pretty indefensible at this point so they deflect and project. This is common across the media today by my observations.
  10. Dalton is likely going to look leagues better (see what I did there lol). Those media shills are going to have to rewrite their bull, to frame Tepper as, at best, the dumbass who didn't veto the Young pick.
  11. Well, a fantasy not realistic, but if they were going to expand let Tepper take the team wherever he wants and put the expansion right into the existing facilities and arrangements. Just drop them in. The thing about Tepper I am starting to wonder about... is he finally learning? It would be a shame to suffer all his green undisciplined knee jerk futility, and have him finally get past that somewhere else... I actually think Tepper has a better chance of turning it around than Bryce does.
  12. You have to go by the player. If he shows you he can compete; it isn't too fast for him and he isn't mentally overwhelmed, he will probably get better playing instead of watching. There is nothing like being on the clock in with others that are really good. I mean, you might be the worst one, but if you can keep from getting fired you will get a great education. So you have to learn fast, it forces you to. Some of what Young has seen he hasn't had time to process, he is overwhelmed. He needs to reflect and chill for a while.
  13. Just put it in his contract no more gross poo, I'm okay with him. He has tools at least.
  14. Yeah I thought he was well reasoned and probably well informed to where most fans would appreciate seeing that. I did.
  15. It is a nice try from the team but you can't expect the same results. With Brees we are talking about a guy that was still a high level payer just with a diminished arm. Same reason Cam would be better with his diminished arm than. (Young) Points off for a guy who won't even use the pocket, too. Plus, the Brees comp is a false positive so to speak. If you honestly factor their weight and height Brees is as close to 6'2 225 as he is to 5'10" 184, totally different class, size wise. He is right in the middle.
  16. He is not a bad player all the time. And the overlooked upside of guys put under different coaches is they will have seen a lot. So they will get to the point they can get up to speed in a short-ish time with a variety of situations. I'm saying he is probably one of those guys. That speech where he was eating his fingers or whatever the hell that was? That's my image when I think of him, can't help it. I wish he hadn't have dome that.
  17. Here is my new saying: Better comes from good, worse comes from bad. You want good. That's it. They will feed off of some good. I hope. The Raiders have zero film on Dalton and Canales/Idzik, Idzik said that Dalton has a huge vocabulary, play and concept wise, to draw from. (that's not a quote) It sounds like that is a literal 109 item buffet compared to a hot dog with mustard, analogy wise. I think look for what the WRs are good at (got a big clue above in that video) If Dalton can truly execute even at a C+ NFL level there will be much more for everyone to work with. I haven't felt any positive anticipation running up to Sunday since the 1st game of 2023. And wouldn't even call that positive, it was the unveiling of what the Bryce Young era would be, how it was going to look. Damned if it wasn't exactly how it was gonna look. Really looking forward to viewing an NFL looking offense from our side.
  18. Ruiz tells it like it is. Watching these ex players and the ESPN shills and the whole thing, to me this is exposing all of them as ‘you can’t be that stupid so why are you lying for Bryce Young?’. And I know how low the bar is theses days for common sense but still, a lot of people will be seeing through this. I hope.
  19. LOLOL these people... I can't say what I really think. I'll keep it to blowhards that know better but are drumming up the outrage as usual.
  20. I used to like Riddick but this is just, fantasy. How does he get off pretending he knows the conversation that got Canales hired? That Canales promised he could fix Young. That is poo like we do here. He should be above that. Tell you what, I am not afraid to see Young take his talents somewhere else. I don't think he is showing anybody up, I just don't.
  21. Kind of had enough for tonight but it would good to identify and expose the people who are trotting out the propaganda too. Ahead of Dalton's results which could fuel them to double down, or send them back to come up with more rationalizations. I mean, most of that is former players that I am seeing. Funny how they are mostly not quarterbacks. Except for Ryan Leaf so far. Leaf didn't cite any film study that I remember it was the same excuses we've listened to for over a year.
