  1. I could be wrong but as an outsider looking in, I just don't think that Flores was ever on the Tua wagon. Kinda feels like Tua was forced on him and they were never on the same page.
  2. It also suggests that Rhule hasn't broadened his NFL circle doubling back to re-interview previously rejected candidates for bigger roles than they were previously rejected from.
  3. I'm still really surprised that Flores was fired. He had really seemed to hit on something in Miami in the 2nd half a of the season. Seemed like there was a lot to build on there. I think he probably ends up with the Giants job.
  4. Damn... two years ago Rhule deemed this guy unworthy of a position coach job and now he's hiring him as OC. That's about as concrete of proof that you've gone from choosing to begging in your hiring process. Has McAdoo even been considered for other OC jobs in the meantime?
  5. There's actually a decent chance that dork would be a better NFL coach than Matt Rhule. He might be smart enough to hire good assistants and then just GTFO of their way. That would automatically make him better than Rhule.
  6. Sticking with your failed coach just to watch him bounce to take a college job... oh wee mayne. That'd be an all-time ego checking right there. Here's to hoping it happens. I'm just here to watch the trainwreck at this point. Zero emotional involvement left in this franchise.
  7. I just don't even get mad anymore. I've reached a state of perfect apathy. Thanks Tepper.
  8. Every time I think we've achieved a new low under Rhule, he proves me wrong and digs some more. Now for acquiring the next retread vet QB who will inevitably and very predictably flop terribly.
  9. Matt Rhule would say if Kittle's arms were an inch longer he wouldn't be getting held.
  10. Andy Dalton. Andy. Dalton. Andy. Fuging. Dalton. That's where we are now?
  11. Excuse me while I interrupt the never ending bitchfest on Tepper and Rhule's Panthers, but today was a good day. https://allthatsinteresting.com/it-was-a-good-day-actual-date
  12. For a rookie playing behind a terrible OL with no passing game to speak of, I was happy with Chuba. No, he's not CMC by any means but he subbed in better than could be reasonably expected for a 5th round rookie.
  13. Given our atrocious QB, OL, and coaching situations it's really hard to give a fair assessment of him. We just aren't a team conducive to success on the field either individually or as a team, especially on offense. Just the sad truth.
  14. Rhule cashing his fat checks and telling Tepper that he's going to pay elite OC money to some bum who has one year of NFL coaching experience as a position coach after being a terrible college HC and OC.
  15. Saying one thing that sounds good and doing a totally different bullshit thing is starting to seem like Rhule's modus operandi.
  16. This is hilarious at this point. This is literally one of the worst possible hires we could make.
  17. He has the horses of his own choosing. It's just that Matt Rhule isn't cut out for the NFL.
  18. Matt Rhule couldn't get the Pro Bowl roster to 12-5.
  19. This is the Rhule process. Sign afterthought vet QBs because no one else will I've you the time of day then after they predictably flop throw them under the bus, rinse, and repeat. It'll keep going for as long as Tepper allows it.
  20. This guy is a joke. I can't ever recall him taking any accountability for anything. It's always someone else's fault. Yeah, he has final say on paper, but trust him. It's still not his fault. I have no idea how Tepper can sit back and watch this and still think he has the right man leading this organization.
  21. I don't let Tepper off the hook and put all the blame on Hurney. Tepper bought in fully too. I honestly think he still believes... or at least can't believe that he got this so terribly wrong. Either way, the end result is another year of Rhule.
  22. Of all the QB prospects this year, Strong and Pickett are the two who would struggle the worst for the Panthers. Not that I think we're a good fit for any rookie to have early success, but I think those two in particular would look like "worse than Darnold" bad.
  23. It's the single trait most often associated with overdrafting a QB. Its the QB equivalent to a WR 40 time. A rocket arm is an awesome thing to have but it won't make up for a lack of everything else. For a Drew Bledsoe type to work in the modern NFL you're going to have to put him behind a stout OL and he's going to have to have a great football mind. John Elway would love Strong and that's a pretty big red flag.
