  1. Darnold has to hit that. Had all day to throw. DJ had two steps on his man. Ball wasn't even in the right zip code. Chuba ballin' though.
  2. Well, we have some things to get figured out or we're gonna get blasted.
  3. Or we accept the reality that the starters aren't getting the job done.
  4. Paradis is so fuging weak since that hip injury. He just can't anchor anymore.
  5. Granted, I haven't been paying much attention to media opinions on this game and never really do, but in the little I've been subjected to I haven't seen near enough focus on the advantage we have in this one on timing. The Cowboys are coming off of a MNF game giving them one less day of rest versus normal while we're coming off of a TNF game giving us three more days of rest versus normal. A four day rest advantage with no potential bye week rust to deal with is pretty significant.
  6. Fired up the smoker. Gonna be country style pork ribs, smoked baked beans covered in bacon, and smoked bougie mac and cheese with gouda, Jarlsberg, cheddar, and fontina cheeses.
  7. This. We don't HAVE to win today for me to come out of it with a positive feeling. A win would obviously be preferable, but competing, having a chance to win, and basically looking like we belong on the field with what looks to be a pretty good NFL team would be an overall positive sign.
  8. Looking forward to this one. Today will give us a good indication of whether we're legit or whether we've just been beating up on truly terrible teams.
  9. A big part of football is having luck on the injury front, both as an individual and as a team. Just think about the guys the Panthers have had that have been derailed by injuries. It's crazy.
  10. I really like our RB roster. This OL just hasn't given them much of a chance to show anything.
  11. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/nfl-draft-scouts-flocking-to-see-the-latest-freak-sleeper-from-d-ii-lenoir-rhyne-023202973.html First came Kyle Dugger, Lenoir-Rhyne's athletically gifted late bloomer who vaulted to the 37th overall pick of the New England Patriots in 2020. Scouts flocked to Hickory to scout Dugger, likely the first time many had visited the school. Dugger was no Halley’s Comet. There's another Lenoir-Rhyne prospect scouts are circling back en masse to watch — wide receiver Dareke Young, another freakish talent who is very much in the 2022 draft picture.
  12. The really scary part? Honestly our pass blocking has appeared substantially better than the run blocking.
  13. Yeah, we definitely completely leaned on Cam. Though we did TRY at WR. We spent a 1st on KB and a 2nd on Funchess, we just chose poorly. The approach at OL though... oh wee mayne. I hope to see is go all in on OL this off-season if Darnold pans out over the course of the entire season.
  14. I would have LOVED to have had Watson pre-scandal but I think that asking price would have doomed us to continually field a shitty overall roster floated to hopefully be decent by an elite QB. It would be really tough to build a contender giving up three 1sts and 2nds. That's a LOT of cheap potential talent.
  15. That might be the best description of Rolling Stone magazine ever.
  16. Nope. CBD, but I don't do any products for humans. All my stuff is for dogs (well, and one for horses). At the end of the day, I like most dogs better than I like most people, so...
  17. Maybe we just don't want to poo on a guy on his way out who worked hard and was well liked within the organization?
  18. You're good. They use the same lab I use (Botanacor, but I'm probably gonna move over to Pro Verde) and they're testing for residual solvents and heavy metals.
  19. Agreed. And I think Gronk played much of his career significantly north of his listed weight. I bet that dude is taking the field at 280 these days. Fast forward two years and if all goes according to plan, Tremble resembles Kittle and Kittle is a BEAST. We'd all be thrilled.
