  1. If rings are the only standard then you're implying a lot of great players weren't good enough.
  2. If we could get Stafford talent level we'd be trading up for sure. Dude was a former #1 overall pick who has thrown for over 45k yards and nearly 300 TDs and you're implying that would be settling? LOL!
  3. It would be $10M next year. After that Watson is probably either banned or this is all in the past and he's on the field
  4. Taking on that salary? The salary would've been the least of our worries. That trade haul we gave up on the other hand...
  5. I'm tired of getting reports about this thread. If one of the other mods wants to open it back up that's fine but it's done for now.
  6. Deshaun's "game" may have something to do with his current situation. You're off the rails on this one my dude.
  7. In that situation, my far and away best option available would be to trade down and try to pickup an additional 1st next year. We may need it to make a move next year for a QB because guess what, we're basically going to be in the same situation which is the situation of needing a QB. If we can't do that, them yeah, LT or CB would be the best absolute worst fuging case scenarios available to us. Half-ass it for Howell mode in full effect.
  8. See how the conversation on here has been speculation, whataboutism, innuendo, hurled insults, and semantics? Yeah, that's how these legal actions will proceed. Don't expect any ultimate clarity on this.
  9. People keep talking about this "not making sense" for the Texans? What moves have they been making over the last two years or so that HAVE made sense? They get no credit for firing O'Brien after letting him absolutely tank the roster after promoting him to HC/GM.
  10. I honestly don't see us going WR until the 4th unless someone very surprising is available to us.
  11. Solid signing. Serviceable #3, good #4. I'm sure we'll still be looking at WRs in the mid-late rounds.
  12. I had been led to believe that this guy was some super attorney and here the dumbass is posting memos on social media that quite clearly spell out "CONFIDENTIAL" right there at the top. LOL!
  13. I honestly have no idea who is buying MMA and boxing PPVs these days. If you have any ability to search the internet and 30 seconds...
  14. By that as an entertainer she probably means NY or LA.
  15. No way it'll be included for $60/year. It'll be an additional fee. Just like UFC PPVs are an additional fee on top of the $60/year. That was a brilliant move by the UFC putting their content behind a double paywall.
  16. How are you calculating market "size" and why does it matter? Wilson is doing just fine with endorsements in Seattle. Mahomes and Mayfield are killing it in KC and Cleveland.
  17. This makes streaming even MORE attractive IMO since ESPN+ is a streaming service anyway. Oh, and just as an FYI, the illegal streams have been more reliable than the actual UFC PPVs on ESPN+ and NFL Sunday Ticket will create a LOT more traffic than UFC PPVs. I predict this will be a complete poo show.
  18. Yeah, just doesn't make sense unless the Bills did something that doesn't make sense and gave him a top backup contract. If I was a young former starting QB trying to resurrect my career, Buffalo would be one of the last places on my mind.
  19. Who envisioned Trubisky getting a big deal?
  20. Just curious, but how is the Seattle market "just like" Charlotte?
  21. Oh, I'd definitely take it for sure but if I was a former high 1st round pick I wouldn't exactly be strutting around pounding my chest about a Super Bowl "I won" as a backup.
  22. Yeah, I'm sure a former #2 overall pick would be super proud of a ring won while riding the pine.
  23. Spoken like a guy whose gone through four divorces.
  24. Bingo. I think it's likely that time proves Nagy to be another Gase.
