  1. Like I said, I fully expect the Eagles to win but imagine you're holding that betting slip and then Jalen Hurts or Saquan Barkley blows his knee up on the second play of the game. This is football. That poo happens. Now you're like OH SHIIIIIIIIITTT!!! LOL
  2. I mean, I expect the Eagles to win but putting up $3.1M for the chance to win $400k just seems dumb. Fluky poo happens. Turnovers or a key injury can completely change a game versus expectations going in.
  3. Yeah, I'm all for the kids getting paid for their services that bring in a lot of money for everyone else but they're going to have to figure out some sensible guidelines or they're gonna kill the golden goose eventually.
  4. Just bizarre. I can't understand why either party would have any interest in this as a legit candidacy. Maybe ole randy Bill has eyes for one of our cheerleaders or something. LOL! I really hope it's just an effort to pick the brain of an all-time great coach and Bill is down for it for a nice meal and a round at Pinehurst or something. I don't, just bizarre.
  5. When did anyone ever view the ACC as anything other than the 3rd or even 4th best football conference?
  6. I would almost guarantee that Clemson is a top 10 team when it comes to average television ratings. Sports fandom is very much what have you one for me lately and Clemson has been one of the top teams in the country over the last decade. Honestly, there was a stretch of a few years when they were THE top team in the country.
  7. They don't want to play because they have nothing to gain and everything to lose. They're in the exact same spot as ND without the brand name. They've played a soft schedule and have one win over a ranked team but unlike ND their one loss is actually to a decent top 20 team. SMU's resume is every bit as strong as ND's but ND is sitting very comfortably at #4 probably looking at a first round bye while SMU is probably playing for their playoff lives. It's fuged up. They really need to force ND into a conference if they want to be eligible for the playoffs.
  8. The conferences want nothing to do with losing our on that $$$ though
  9. This doesn't look like a tournament team and if we miss the tournament I can't see Hubert surviving.
  10. They wouldn't have a choice if UNC bought out his contract.
  11. If Wes Miller keeps winning and Hubert keeps losing...
  12. It happens to Auburn back in 2017. Beat Bama to get into the SEC CG, lost to UGA in that game and Bama leapfrogged them to go to the playoffs. Super fuged up.
  13. This guy's agent better be screaming at him that his career is hanging by a thread. He's burning bridges like a serial arsonist. His next chance will probably be his last. If he's not already on his last one that is.
  14. ND is never that good. That's why they've gotten absolutely waxed every time they've been put in the playoffs. Bama is basically the same team they were with Hurts. Good team but very limited in the passing game. If they're out in a situation where they have to pass to keep pace they're gonna lose. I don't see them as legit contenders and I honestly don't think they should be in the playoffs.
  15. It's pretty simple if you take off the blinders. They lost to Nebraska and Kansas because they're just not that good. They're a borderline top 20 type of team that's good enough to play with the top teams if they're on their A game but are flawed enough to lose to practically anyone any given week if they're not on their A game.
  16. Milroe is just too much of a liability in the passing game IMO.
  17. Remember when Auburn was penalized for losing in the SEC championship game after beating Bama to get into the game then Bama went to the playoffs after Auburn lost in the game Bama didn't qualify for?
  18. You know how I know you're wrong? It's been a decade and it still gets talked about on here often.
  19. Zero sympathy for repeat offenders. Especially when it looked like pretty obvious intent to injure. Fug 'em.
  20. This. The best case scenario for our remaining games is that we continue to play relatively well but find a way to lose the game.
  21. It was definitely a catch and it was definitely to our long-term benefit that the refs botched the call.
  22. I don't think he sandbagged as much as we were just cautious with his injuries and chose not to play him in questionable condition when we were out of contention. Sure wish we'd done that with Cam when we had him out there playing on a torn rotator cuff in his throwing arm when we were already eliminated from playoff contention.
