I'd never heard of the Kia Carnival before but it's kind of an interesting concept and one that I'm surprised took so long to come around. Basically disguise a minivan as an SUV but actually retain the functional benefits of a minivan. That makes a helluva lot more sense than the "crossover SUV" platform which basically disguised a minivan as an SUV while sacrificing the actual functional benefits of both platforms. I've honestly always thought that the crossover SUV was the worst vehicle concept of all time in terms of actual functionality but they became wildly popular because people liked the way they looked and they were considerably cheaper than an actual truck based platform SUV. A+ for the marketing team. They sold a ton of those poo sandwiches.

I've never messed with that gas station poo. All D8 is highly processed. The gas stations I'm sure are carrying the cheapest poo they can buy and I'm sure those processors are producing their poo as cheaply as they possibly can. What I'm saying is it's probably dirty with residual solvents, etc. I wouldn't touch that stuff.

Honestly, go with a minivan. The "SUVs" you're looking at are just minivans without the convenience of the sliding door. They just took a minivan and put standard doors on it to label it and SUV. A Honda Pilot is literally just a minivan with four swinging doors.

Don't follow the NBA near enough to come up with a modern comparison but he's basically Rik Smits IMO. That's no insult. Smits was a solid if unspectacular '90s center on some very good Pacers teams and was a #2 overall draft pick. But where does he fit in the modern game?

I don't follow the NBA at all and pretty much only watch if I happen to be in a bar with a game on or something like that, but he just doesn't seem to fit the modern NBA game at all. He's probably the #1 overall pick in an '80s or '90s draft, but I thought he'd probably be a late 1st flyer type of pick in today's game.

I definitely didn't expect Edey to go top 10 or for Filipowski not to go in the 1st. Filipowski really fuged up not going pro last year. He hurt his stock bad by not making any significant improvement in his game from his freshman to sophomore year leading to upside questions.

Does it function well for the purpose of NFL football games? Absolutely. That's really all that matters. If Tepper wants to foot the bill to pay for his stadium, fine. Have at it. I marinated these for about two hours (just picked them up today) and smoked them at 225-250 for three hours before searing them on the grill for about two minutes a side. Damn they were good.
