The scheme just doesn't fit his strengths at all. Honestly not Moton's either but I think his experience is able to carry him a little better.

Not sure if there's anything to it. Evidently they really liked him in the draft but for all we know they liked him in the draft but they may have liked him as a LB for all we know. I think it's just connecting dots between their biggest need (safety), us not really using Chinn, and them having liked him in the draft. I just don't think Chinn fits their defense as a safety. They generally play two high safeties.

I was gonna go to the PSL exchange just out of curiosity to see how little they were selling for but they force you to make an account. Somehow Tepper's soccer team got a hold of my email and they spam the poo out of me. I certainly don't want to get on his PSL spam list just to get a glance out of morbid curiosity.

I wonder what it looks like if Cam doesn't take that hit from Watt. He was getting the ball out much quicker in Norv's offense and showing an ability to hit shorter throws like he never had before. He completed 68% of his attempts that season. We were 6-2 going into that Steelers game and Cam had thrown 15 TDs to just 4 INTs and was playing his best ball since 2015. Then that hit knocked the wheels off his career and our franchise.

I've just been around football long enough to not get impressed by cliche word salad. That was a classic "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance try to baffle them with bullshit" attempt.

They retained Campen as the OL coach. I'm not sure if he has much experience coaching zone schemes or not but I'm surprised that when he learned that's what they were gonna be running he wasn't like, "Uh... that ain't gonna work with our personnel."

We have an OL built for power concepts and an offense that runs primarily finesse concepts. This is not an OL built to zone block but that's what we ask them to do. The Broncos under Shanahan always had a great zone blocking OL. They generally consist of smaller, quicker OL. They rarely had a starter much over 300 pounds.

I never understood how people though game planning was going to fix it. You might be able to scheme around a weak link but when your entire OL looks like a sieve you can't scheme 'em up to fix that. Ickey would be on the sidelines giving an interview all happy go lucky after looking like a human turnstile. It felt like The Twilight Zone

We approached preseason like we were a team expected to be Super Bowl contenders with few questions marks and had it all figured out. Not a team with a rookie QB, new coaching staff, and new systems to install. It was baffling at the time and it's kinda infuriating now seeing how poo we are. It seems like the entire organization was just completely blind to how much work we needed. They bought their own hype that was literally only coming from within their own echo chamber.

They'll be back if we start winning again. Or they won't. Posters come and go over the years. Years of losing guts fanbase though.

OL play around the league is at an all-time low. There are a handful of good OLs and every other OL is varying degrees of suck. The Panthers feel about middle of the pack amongst the suck crowd. If you want to watch truly bad, watch the Giants or Commanders.

I mean, that doesn't really bother me. Ultimately it's not about the coaching style that gets players' respect. If they think you can help the team win games and help them advance their careers they're gonna respect you and tune in. If they don't they won't. I honestly think it's just that simple.

He's on pace for about 800 yards and 6 TDs this year and I think he'll actually trend up from there with Jahan Dotson starting to look like a bust.

They all do but I think Bryce probably needs a Tua or Purdy situation. Elite weapons all over the place with an offensive wunderkind Manning the play sheet. That's really hard to replicate.

These clowns thought their "point guard" could make below average weapons serviceable. It's the opposite. You need weapons to lift this type of QB up.
