  1. JT is more athletic but Sawyer has that dog in him. I don't know if Sawyer will be a starter but I think he's going to have a long NFL career injuries aside.
  2. When a guy with the SC safety's measurables doesn't go in the 1st it really makes me wonder why. I mean, on paper he's Sean Taylor 2.0. So why's he still available?
  3. Ideally after he had a disappointing rookie season and the Falcons trade him to us for peanuts. LOL
  4. I don't mind the pick. No, it's not the pick I would've made but I stated in plenty of threads pre-draft that taking T-Mac wouldn't upset me. Bryce finally looked like a guy down the stretch last year who might be a legit starting QB so I get trying to get that blue chip WR to keep that ball rolling. We had a stud in Cam and we failed to put the pieces around him. I'm not mad that we're trying really hard to prevent making that mistake again.
  5. Not sure. But any chart that has you going from 57 to 34 with an extra 4th, just throw that one out. That ain't gonna happen. LOL
  6. I want us to just sit tight until it gets into range of 57+111. If the right guy is there at that point and there's a dance partner then go for it. But that's as aggressive as I hope that we get.
  7. 57 + 111 gets you into the 49/50 range. You're not getting close to 34 with 57 and a 4th
  8. Some of y'all seemingly hate to see other people happy. It's weird.
  9. I would hope for the BC guy. Definitely hope not for the rapey guy.
  10. That's how most sacks happen. You don't see many sacks at all when the QB is getting the ball put in three seconds. It usually takes the combo of a good pass rush, decent coverage, and the QB trying to hang in there.
  11. I'm not ready to give up on XL yet either. I'm hoping that lingering wrist injury was really impacting his hands.
  12. Not a bad plan. Of the elite QBs, Bryce probably most closely fits the Brees mold.
  13. Mukuba and Watts are by far the two best fits for us in terms of the type of safety we need paired with Moehrig.
  14. We may have thought that Walker was going to be the juicier trade bait? Once Jeanty went in front of us I think our trade down scenarios plummeted. That was the one blue chipper that we clearly weren't going to draft.
  15. Proud of the Panthers. I preferred Walker but I'm not at all mad about T-Mac. I'm just proud because this is the first time in years where we haven't blatantly telegraphed our 1st round intentions.
  16. Double dipping at WR after reading up to draft XL in the 1st last year would feel like screaming that we think he's a bust.
  17. I'm willing to part with one of our 4ths to move up a few spots for the right guy but that's as aggressive as I hope we'll consider being.
  18. I hope we don't get goaded into making a move because of a run. That's how we ended up making a panic trade up and reach on DJ Johnson.
  19. I hope Green isn't on our draft board but agree otherwise. I'll add Josaiah Stewart to that list.
  20. Their history of failure drafting edge rushers is working against them but the fact that lots of Panthers fans wanted Walker and we passed with a division rival drafting him it just feels destined that he's the next coming of LT. LOL
  21. @tukafan21 I'm happy for ya man. Drafting Julius Peppers is what originally made me a Panthers fan. When your college team isn't a traditional powerhouse you're not going to produce a ton of top shelf draft talent so it's even more exciting when your NFL team drafts one.
  22. You doing alright man? Every post just reeks of piss and vinegar. LOL
