And Vegas knows that too and the odds will swing to reflect it. All they're trying to do is spread out their liability. This is how the house always wins. It's about keeping the bettor money spread out so that no matter who wins they end up winning.

As expected. With all the talk about Young to Carolina over the past few days all the money has probably been coming in on Young. They need to get some more Stroud money on the line. It's all about spreading out their liabilities so that they end up winning no matter who the pick is.

Tepper and his analytics focus is a decent point. The analytics for NFL QB's Bryce Young's size in the modern NFL comes back "Error: Cannot Divide By Zero".
-
Well, that was disappointing. Just a Manning family puff piece.
-
Yeah, it's Manning Passing Academy infomercial featuring Bryce Young.
-
It's like they're positioning him to be our pick. Focused on his "PG mentality". That's something our entire offensive staff has talked about. The first play they broke down was an RPO and Reich has previously ran more RPO than most NFL offenses. Height talking coming up next.
-
Well, so far this has just been an infomercial for the Manning Passing Academy.
-
Yeah, I'll actually watch this. I really don't care about most media breakdowns but HOF QBs breaking down a QB that we very well may be drafting? Yeah, I'm in. Thanks for sharing.

Hangartner... that's a player I haven't thought about in a long time.

With BC's versatility, he'd still be a very valuable all purpose backup along the OL.
-
Highly doubtful old man. My dad is probably younger than you. LOL!

We're all over CBs because of injuries. The same is probably true with the OGs. Sometimes the best ability is availability. Speculating a little deeper... if you're gonna have a short QB, you better have a STRONG interior OL. Pressure up the middle is a killer for short QBs. They can't see over it.

It's just connecting the dots between the players we've acquired and what has been said by our new staff about our defensive scheme. No one is saying he WILL be traded. People have just said it could happen because we've made moves that have made him expendable (signing Von Bell), Fitts has already told us you can't re-sign everyone, Fitts is a wheeler and dealer, and on the surface Chinn doesn't really fit in great into this defensive scheme given the little that we know about it. It's the offseason, what else is their to talk about? Shall we argue some more about QBs?

Which QB Best Fits Reichs RPO Style Offense?
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just telling the truth. I honestly doubt he's on our final roster. -
Which QB Best Fits Reichs RPO Style Offense?
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep, sucks getting picked by a coach in over his head then getting hurt then the coach getting fired. I hope he can salvage a career but I honestly just don't see many signs he's part of our plan moving forward. -
Which QB Best Fits Reichs RPO Style Offense?

RPO as in "Run Pass Option" not "Rhule Pick Obsolete" -
How former Panther Russell Okung looks like these days
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good for him. Seems like most of these guys really slim down or really let themselves go after they retire. -
Reich's Indy teams were typically near the top of the league in terms of snap percentage from shotgun. The lowest shotgun percentage they ran under Reich was 64%. They were more typically around 75%.

Which QB Best Fits Reichs RPO Style Offense?
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bingo. Watch UNC's offense at the college level to see a classic RPO offense. The majority of RPO plays is the QB reading the defense at the mesh point with the RB before deciding to let the RB keep it or pull it and throw. -
Dean Jones from CatCrave on Panthers #1 pick

Same way everyone else is coming up with their prediction. Wild ass guessing. -

I took it as he thinks Reich isn't gonna prefer Young but the majority in the room will.
